Front Porch and Sidewalk Restoration in Nevada, IA

When Bill hired someone to mudjack his walkway and front porch over a year ago, he soon realized that it was not a permanent solution. The front porch had sunk more than an inch, and water was causing erosion, leading to settling issues with several sidewalk slabs. Seeking a reliable and long-lasting fix, Bill turned to us for assistance.

Understanding the limitations of mudjacking and the need for a more durable solution, we used PolyLevel Foam instead. PolyLevel is a state-of-the-art polyurethane foam that is injected beneath sunken concrete slabs to lift and level them. By carefully applying PolyLevel to the areas of concern on Bill's front porch and sidewalk, we were able to restore their original elevation and eliminate the trip hazards caused by the sinking.

To ensure further protection against water intrusion and prevent future settlement, we applied NexusPro sealant to all the joints on the porch and along the sidewalk. NexusPro is a high-quality silicone-based sealant that forms a strong and flexible barrier, keeping water out and preventing further damage.

By utilizing PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant, we provided Bill with a comprehensive and long-lasting solution for his front porch and sidewalk issues. Unlike mudjacking, which proved to be a temporary fix, PolyLevel offers reliable and permanent stabilization, restoring the structural integrity of the concrete surfaces.

Bill can now enjoy a level and safe front porch, free from trip hazards, and a well-sealed sidewalk that can withstand water infiltration. Our commitment to delivering superior results ensures that Bill's investment in our services will stand the test of time.

Concrete Repair in Cambridge, IA

This homeowner wanted to fix his concrete before they built a new deck and landscaped around the area.

During our inspection, we determined the driveway slabs had settled due to soil washout. To fix this issue, we did our Concrete Protection Three System on the whole driveway area. This includes PolyLevel to lift the slab to its original position, Nexus to seal cracks and joints, and SealantPro to protect the surface of the driveway from moisture.

The customer was happy with the project and is excited to start on their new deck.

Home owner Jim S. wanted his concrete lifted and sealed before building a new deck and landscaping in that area.

System Design Specialist Elliott Christians was able to diagnose the issue and provide a long term solution.  We started with leveling concrete with Polylevel and then applying NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal of the joints and then applied SealantPro over the top as a protective layer for the concrete.

Licona W. noticed that the concrete was settling and was worried about the concrete forcing water to poll by the garage and foundation. Looking for a concrete leveling solution, he decided to give Midwest a call.

System Design Specialist Rich Lathrum went out to Licona’s home. He was able to see that concrete slabs were sinking next to the foundation, allowing for water to poll and reverse slope. The crew was able to lift the concrete by using PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant to close up the joints and cracks preventing future water intrusion. Licona was happy with how the concrete looked once the project was completed.

Let's face it, a driveway with this many cracks really drives down property value. That's why we used Polylevel foam to make sure it was flat and smooth to drive on again. But what about all of those cracks? For that, we used NexusPro, which is a filler designed to fix any existing cracks and prevent further cracking in the future.
