PolyLevel Injections for Tenant walkway, Dutton, ON

A home in Dutton, Ontario, had a troublesome walkway for the tenant who lived there. The concrete slabbed walkway had experienced some sinking and shifting causing the pathway to be ankle bending and full of tripping hazards. On numerous occasions the tenant left the unit and tripped on it during all hours of the day, causing them to avoid the walkway as a whole making it pointless to have one. Minus the tripping hazards, during wet or cold days, the lower points would pool or even freeze creating a slipping issue. To prevent liability issues and tackle this job without spending a whole lot, the homeowners wanted to level out the concrete permanently.

A call was made to Canadian Concrete Leveling since we can provide an honest quote, same-day installation, quick cleanup, effective price, and long-lasting work. Our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, went to the home to provide the owners with a schematic as to what will be happening once the installation team comes over. On a later day, our Installation Specialists, Kyle and JP, arrived at the home. With the given schematics, they were able to lift the slabs quickly and non-invasively. the material used for the leveling is a high-density polyurethane. A lot of other methods require more cement or a self-leveling liquid; both are effective and short-term. To get the long-term results with a lightweight material, you'd need our polyurethane, known as PolyLevel®. In order to get the PolyLevel® underneath the slab, small dime-sized injections are made to attach our nozzle for our hose. The hose contains our polyurethane and then gets injected in moderation into the sinking slab. The concrete lifts almost immediately and cures within minutes, leaving our homeowners and tenants worry-free about walking in and out of their unit.

NexusPro® Sealant and PolyLevel® Injections in London, ON

This home in London, Ontario, had a driveway and walkway composed of concrete slabs. Over time, these slabs tend to shift due to soil erosion and in most cases pull away from the home, leaving the home's foundation exposed and vulnerable. The homeowners were worried that water would protrude into the foundation causing leaking or more shifting would occur causing dangerous tripping hazards. This had to be fixed as soon as possible. The homeowners were worried that they'd have to rip up the slabs and replace them with new ones. Thankfully they came across Canadian Concrete Leveling that can lift the concrete slabs without having the homeowners pay a hefty price tag for new ones.

Our Project Manager, Andy Moncreiff, arrived on the site to run some schematics on how our team can fix the problem permanently. On a later day our installation specialist, Kyle McKeown, came in to start the work. He will be injecting the slabs with our high-density polyurethane, called PolyLevel®, to lift the slabs back to their original position safely. Following up would be the application of our durable sealant called NexusPro®, which will be applied to the floor-to-wall joint of the slabs to prevent foundation integrity loss. Thankfully the process only took one day and to be even exact, took under 15 minutes to complete. The polyurethane cures almost immediately and the NexusPro® is active once applied.

The owners were thrilled by the result and knew the extra layer of safety their home has now from the elements and tripping hazards. With the tremendous cleanup and speedy process, the owners were happy throughout their experience with Canadian Concrete Leveling.

PolyLevel® Fixes Walkway Tripping Hazards, London, ON

Our clients of a community centre located in London, Ontario, had walkways that happened to be uneven. These concrete slabs caused many tripping and pooling hazards for the daily foot traffic of employees and the public. In the colder days of the years, the pooling became slipping ice issues. The problem had to be fixed as soon as possible before more soil erosion occurred, leading to more shifting. Andy Moncrieff assessed the area and wanted installation foreman Kyle McKeown to inject our high-density polyurethane in the sinking points to lift them to their original state. The poly, known as PolyLevel®, was injected, leaving the concrete usable almost immediately. The community centre was thrilled with the minimal invasion done to the concrete and how it didn't disrupt the foot traffic!
