Concrete Patio Repair, Cambridge, MA

The entrance way and concrete patio outside this condo residence in Cambridge, Massachusetts was cracked, discolored, and showing signs of settlement. Our specialist showed them how our team could address all their concerns and protect the concrete against future problems as well.

After lifting and stabilizing the concrete, our production team also applied DecoShield, which acts as a concrete sealant to prevent water from seeping into the concrete. This sealant material also had a gray tint, and so the surface of the concrete looks new again. The transformation of the entrance way for this community is not only safer now, but brighter and cleaner.

Concrete Sealant Repair, Reading, MA

This homeowner in Reading, MA was concerned with the condition of the concrete walkway leading up to their front door. Over the years as water eroded away the soil base of the walkway, the slabs began to sink and shift in various directions. This left an uneven surface that was not only unsightly, but also full of trip hazards. The owner was looking for a solution that did not require replacing the entire walkway, and our Erickson team proposed and installed the solution they needed.

To remove the grit and grime build up, our team first pressure washed the concrete surface. To level and stabilize the concrete slabs, they then injected PolyLevel, a polymer foam which expands and fills voids. Once the trip hazards were leveled out and the concrete was even, the final step included sealing the joints with NexusPro silicone, and sealing the surface with SealantPro. This surface sealant ensures that the porous concrete surface will no longer absorb rainwater (or snow melt), and so prolongs the life of the concrete.  In the after photo, the green tint is within the sealant spray, which helps the installer visually as he applies the material. As it dries, the tint fades and leaves nothing but a clear concrete surface.

This walkway has been fixed and protected, ensuring it will last for years to come.

Pool Deck Leveling, North Andover, MA

The coping around this pool in North Andover had separated from the concrete pool deck as the patio settled over the years. When our team arrived, the concrete had settled up to 2 inches in some spots. This created a dangerous trip hazard around the perimeter of the pool.

After installation of PolyLevel, this joint was near level, and the trip hazard had disappeared. Rather than rip out and replace all the concrete, this solution was cost effective and quick, as repairs took a single day.

Library Sidewalk Repair, Nottingham, NH

This sidewalk leading up to the entrance of the Blaisdell Library in Nottingham, NH had some uneven concrete and trip hazards. For families and children, these trip hazards were unsafe. When it came to shoveling snow in the winter, the uneven concrete was a nuisance.

Our concrete repair team was successfully able to lift and level the uneven sections of the sidewalk with PolyLevel to help the library create a safe environment for their community. A one day repair that saved the library thousands of dollars compared to replacing the walkway with new concrete.

Sloping Pool Patio, Templeton, MA

This homeowner in Templeton, MA was concerned with their pool deck sloping at a large angle. They wanted to have a slight angle on the patio to ensure any rain water would flow off and away from the pool. However, over the years the slope became more extreme.

This before and after series highlights the effectiveness of PolyLevel for lifting and leveling concrete surfaces. Without having to disrupt or remove any of the existing concrete patio, our team successfully raised the concrete to the desired height. Their pool patio is now safer for the upcoming summer season and many years to come.
