These homeowners were looking to protect their basement from the elements, so they called Woods Basement Systems for help. Design Specialist Al F. recommended the ideal solution for their home protection needs.
Team Woods installed CleanSpace inorganic vapor barriers to keep moisture and microbial irritants out of their basement for a clean, dry home experience.
Golconda, IL resident Richard C. was concerned about moisture in his crawl space. Luckily, System Design Specialist Sam W. knew exactly how to help! Underneath supervision from Kevin G., Foreman Michael R. and his crew installed a CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This durable system works to keep the crawl space drier, prevent mold and mildew growth, and keep water moisture from permeating the ground. Now, Richard can rest assured that his crawl space is now clean and dry!
A crawlspace in Harrisburg, Illinois, was in need of some foundation support. To remedy the situation, Woods came in and installed the SmartJack System. This system consists of custom-cut steel columns that are placed in a solid base of engineered fill. These beams will effectively add support for the home. Thanks to the install, this crawlspace and home will be stable for years to come.
The room addition was built attached to a basement and had only one access cut through the basement wall. It was built without vents but nothing else was done within the closed space. We installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier and sealed up the inside of the crawl space. The air inside the space is now dry and the vapor barrier on the ground will stop the damp air from the ground from 'leaking' up into the home. There will be less humidity and the environment won't be a haven for spiders, critters, and mold as it was previously.
This dirty, moldy crawlspace was fitted with a CleanSpace liner and a SaniDry Dehumidifier. Two of these components of the CrawlSpace Encapsulation System work together to help with moisture production and control mold growth.
