A basement in Effingham, Illinois, had some water seepage coming through the wall. To address this, Woods came out and put down a seal called the CleanSpace System. This system consists of a highly durable sheet of material that is placed directly on the wall. Not only does this help with the humidity, but this seal will also protect the basement from humidity. Not only that, but CleanSpace also brightens up the basement, reflecting any available light back inwards.
This Windsor, Illinois crawl space had issues with leaking and had water pooling in portions of the space, causing the homeowners to worry about mold growth and air quality issues. Woods Basement Systems installed several products to waterproof the space, including a CleanSpace encapsulation system. This inorganic material seals out the elements and moisture and prevents any sort of mold growth.
A crawlspace in Windsor, Illinois, needed to be sealed along with showing signs of a failing foundation. To address these issues, Woods first installed the CleanSpace system. A highly durable and inorganic sheet is placed directly on the ground and walls, effectively sealing the earth from the home above it. This will not only help with heating and cooling costs of the home, but also prevent rot, water seepage, and insect intrusion. Woods also installed the SmartJack System. Galvanized steel columns are custom cut and set in a solid base of engineered fill, effectively stabilizing the crawl space beams and support joists. Thanks to these installs, this crawlspace will remain sealed and well-supported for many years to come.
Muddy crawl spaces are a big source for mold, wood rot, termites, and higher utility bills. The CleanSpace® crawl space encapsulation system works best solving these problems!
These homeowners wanted to protect their crawlspace from the elements. They met with System Design Specialist Kris H. from Woods Basement Systems, who designed a custom-tailored solution to solve their waterproofing problems.
Team Woods installed a CleanSpace liner to keep the crawlspace safe from water damage and make it more energy-efficient. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that traps out moisture as well as potentially harmful microbial growth.
