A crawlspace in Xenia, Illinois needed sealed and extra support for the floor beams. To address these issues, Woods first installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This is a tarp made from a highly durable material that seals the bottom of the home from insects and moisture. They also installed the SmartJack System. This system consists of custom-cut steel beams that are set in galvanized fill. This process effectively restores the home's stability and can be tightened over time. Thanks to these installs, this crawlspace will remain sealed and supported for many years to come. 

Alfred E. wanted to make sure his crawl space in his home's basement was not collecting any water. He knew that water could cause mold growth, and he did not want to take the risk. He called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and decided that installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation System was the best solution. Foreman Joshua B. then traveled to the home to get the job started. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System, pictured above, is a heavy duty liner that is installed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and completely seals the crawl space from the earth.

Alfred E. no longer has to worry about any water getting in his home's crawl space. He now has a dry and waterproof crawl space.

A foundation in a Mason, IL basement was settling, causing cracks to appear. These cracks were also leaking water, causing mold to grow. To solve these issues, a CleanSpace Basement Wall System was first installed.  This is an economical way to cover ugly walls, stop water vapor from permeating them, and drain wall leaks. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will remain warm and dry for years to come!
