Knoxville homeowner had been dealing with a high water table under their home for years. Water intrusion and moldy smells captivated their family home and once they started noticing cracks on their foundation wall they reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions for a professional evaluation. System Designer, Nathan put together a tailored solution for this home and our foreman Cope and crew installed 10 PowerBraces wall stabilization beams, 5 SmartJacks that are extra tall to stabilize the floors that had started warping and sinking due to the high humidity in the space. They installed 105 feet of WaterGuard to address the water situation and redirect the water to a freshly installed Triple Safe sump pump system and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now this Knoxville homeowner will have a protected space from the ground up for years to come. 

A homeowner in Brunswick, MD was dealing with a failing and crumbling stacked stone foundation wall. They didn't think there was anything that could be done to repair it until they called Fortress Foundation Solutions.

Skylar, one of our System Designers, visited the home to assess the foundation and educate the homeowner on the EverBrace® solution. EverBrace is a steel foundation repair system that is installed in front of the existing wall to permanently stabilize and reinforce it.

For stacked stone foundations, EverBrace is often the most effective long-term solution, providing homeowners with lasting structural support and peace of mind.

In Spotsylvania, Virginia, Mr. Avery called Fortress after noticing sagging floors, gaps, and soft spots above his basement. Mr. Avery had seen our advertisements and knew we were the right company to call.

As shown in the before photo, his home was being supported by wooden columns. Unfortunately, the weight-bearing capacity of wood is not nearly as strong or reliable as the weight-bearing capacity of our SmartJack XL system - which is what you see installed in the after photo.

This customer noticed significant settling of their bay window on the front of their home. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, setting an appointment, and receiving an inspection and recommendation from one of our system designers, they chose to accept our proposal to fix their settlement issues for good! We turned to our Helical Pier system to stabilize and restore the position of their foundation! Helical piers are a great option for stabilizing foundations or other masonry elements and we're so glad that we were able to utilize them for these clients!

A homeowner named Colin was referred to Fortress by a radon company after concerns were raised about the home’s structural condition and history of water intrusion near the electrical panel. The previous owners had also noted issues with a bowing wall, and although the home already had some sort of sump pump there was another problem developing beneath the kitchen. A joist supporting the kitchen floor had begun to sag, creating uneven and weakened support beneath the living space.

To stabilize the floor system, Fortress installed 6 extra-tall SmartJacks along with 18 feet of supplemental beam. This solution provided additional support beneath the sagging area, reinforced the kitchen subfloor, and helped restore stability to the home.
