Michael B. bought a home a few months ago in Westminster, SC for his family. He recently got a new job in the Upstate and found just the right home for his family. Although the right layout for his small family, Michael knew that the home needed some work. To start there were cracks forming on the outside and he knew that was a sign of foundation issues. He heard about the Greenville Home Show and decided to attend to get some other idea of improvements he could make on the home. It was there that he met a representative from Cantey Foundation Specialists. Michael was really impressed with the company and the level of professionalism they presented. He was set up for an appointment and the next week System Design Specialist Dave Banks arrived. Dave did a thorough inspection of not only the outside of the house but also the crawl space. The foundation did need some work so Dave sat down with Michael to show him the plans he drew up to fix it. Dave explained that holes would be dug around the foundation and a bracket would be installed at the footing of the home. Then piers would be driven into the ground that would push up on that bracket when the reached the more competent soil. This would create lift and close the existing cracks as well as stabilize the entire foundation. Michael was ready to have a stable foundation so he could start moving on other projects and believed in the Push Pier system. Production Crew Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Crew Member Mariano Lopez, and Production Crew Member Jose Lopez came out and effectively installed the Push Pier system. Michael now has a stable foundation and almost has his home ready for his family.
Gary and Deborah G. have been homeowners in Salem, SC for a while now. They love their home and plan on staying in Salem for quite some time. One of their favorite features of the home is the back porch because of its warm fire place and open space. It is the perfect place to host guests on a summer day or even on a chilling evening in the fall. They began to notice a crack forming causing part of the porch to begin leaning away from the home. They were beginning to plan their annual Halloween party and needed to fix this problem for the safety of their guests. Gary did an internet search to see what local company he could find that could do the job right. He came across Cantey Foundation Specialists and saw that they offered a free no-obligation inspection. Gary and Deborah felt like it was worth a shot to make an appointment to see if Cantey was right for them. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway came out and did an inspection finding that there was indeed a perfect solution Cantey could provide. He explained to Gary and Deborah that soil would be removed from the area where Cantey's Helical Pier system would be installed. Then the Helical Pier is drilled into the ground to the proper depth so that foundation brackets can be positioned below the footing. The weight of the home is then shifted through the Helical Piers to the competent soil underneath. The piers would then lift the home back to its original position. Gary agreed that this was the right solution for his home. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Jose Lopez, and Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines came out and effectively installed the Helical Piers. Gary and Deborah are moving forward with plans to enjoy the company of family and friends for their Halloween party thanks to Cantey's solution.
Deborah G. has owned her home in Salem, SC since 2005. It is a peaceful place with a porch over looking all of the beautiful scenery. About a year ago her mother became ill and moved in with Deborah because she needed extra help. Her mother cannot get out much but one thing that brings her joy is sitting on the back porch and taking in the view. It is her place of peace and where she finds comfort. Often Deborah sits out with her mother and a warm cup of coffee. A few months ago Deborah started to notice that part of the porch was beginning to lean and moving away from the house. She felt like it was not safe for her mother but knowing what it meant to both of them, she had to fix it. While listening to the radio one day on the way to pick up groceries she heard a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. She called in and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway. Specialist Ryan came out and did his inspection finding that Cantey could indeed fix it. He explained to Deborah that Cantey could install Helical Piers that would be placed in the ground deep enough to find competent soil. This soil would create the perfect anchor for the pier to push on while the footing of the pier would find the bottom of her home's foundation. The Helical Pier would then be able to create lift and safety for Deborah and her mother. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Jose Lopez, and Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines came out and effectively installed the Helical Piers. Deborah and her mother are back out on the porch anticipating the fall weather and the leaves changing now that they feel safe once again.
Marsha and Rob G. of Salem, SC were concerned about a couple of areas in their sidewalk that were sinking towards the lake. Cantey Foundation Specialists were able to lift and repair the sidewalks permanently using PolyLevel Lift which allowed the couple to quickly be able to use their sidewalks the same day installation.
Tim A. designed his Fair Play, SC home with his wife several years ago. They had always dreamed of living at the lake and now they finally got to fulfill that dream. They love being outside every chance they get whether it is riding on the boat, the motorcycle, or just lounging in the sun. One day while getting the motorcycle out of the garage, Tim noticed a crack on the side of the garage. He knew this was not a good sign and that he had some foundation issues to address. Tim did a search online for local companies that do foundation work and found Cantey Foundation Specialists. When he called in he explained the issue and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist Laurence LaBruce. When Laurence arrived for the appointment, he did a thorough inspection. Afterward, he sat down with Tim to discuss how Cantey's Push Pier system could stabilize his foundation. The process would begin with the crew digging holes around the foundation. A bracket would then be placed at the footing and then piers would be driven into the earth until they found the more competent soil. Once they reached this point, the piers would push against the bracket to lift the foundation back into place. This also creates permanent stability for the foundation. Tim was impressed with the presentation and believed in the Push Pier solution. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez and Production Team Member Mariano Lopez came out and effectively installed the Push Pier system. Tim is now worry free about his dream home and back to his usual activities of enjoying the outdoors.
