Jeff and Linda W. just moved into their Chapin, SC home a year ago. They had previously lived up North but decided to relocate to South Carolina after they retired. They chose just the right home in a quiet neighborhood that even included a basement. They decided to use the basement as a storage area. When they moved in, they put some things in the basement like holiday decorations that they did not need at the moment. A few months later when Linda went into the basement, she found that water had ruined some of their things. They had no idea that this was a problem but knew they needed to find a solution. It would then sit below the surface and collect the water in the basement with the assistance of the French drain. As the water runs into the SmartSump, it is pumped to the outside.
