PolyLevel® Around Pool Deck, Kitchener, ON

A home in Kitchener, Ontario, had a beautiful pool deck that was, unfortunately, caving outward. This caused cracks to form between the pool and the pool deck, compromising the pool wall integrity. Swimming pools are already hard to maintain and adding an extra element that may hurt the pool isn't ideal. The homeowners also noticed that the shifted concrete pool deck revealed numerous tripping hazards for not only their family but when they also entertained guests. They loved the idea of keeping the concrete slabs around the pool without replacing them. The pool deck needed a little lift in the right direction. Thankfully, Canadian Concrete Leveling can do precisely that.

After the homeowners set up an appointment with our call centre, our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, arrived on-site to provide the owners with a detailed quote. Once our installation team arrived, Kyle McKeown and JP Basto started the leveling treatment. At Canadian Concrete Leveling, we steer away from your average concrete lifting techniques and use our high-density polyurethane injection method to lift the concrete slabs permanently. Polyurethane, used in our PolyLevel® system, quickly expands, is durable, less invasive, and immediately cures. With the injections being done around the whole perimeter of the pool and curing within minutes, the tripping hazards and cracks were removed entirely!

Open Up To The World in Cambridge, Ontario

As the world starts opening again post the pandemic, we are more than inclined to greet and host all our distanced friends and family. But, unfortunately, for most if not all of us, we have been virtually isolated from any social event, let alone hosting one. With almost two years of absent thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties and events, people worldwide anxiously crave closeness, community and company. With Winter approaching faster than ever and the pandemic almost behind us, now is the period to make up for the lost time.

The last thing anyone wants to be responsible for is the unnecessary injury of their friends and family. An uneven walkway can always pose a severe risk to anyone using it, even for the youngest and healthiest members of one's family. But the risk of tripping gets exponentially higher during the Winter months with the introduction of low light conditions, ice, snow and sleet. Uneven, icy and slippery walkways can be a recipe for disaster. Not only is the safety and well-being of your loved ones at risk, but anyone also entering your property, say a salesperson or girl scout that sustains an injury, can make you, the homeowner, financially responsible. These and many more reasons are why Canadian Concrete Leveling is on a mission to eradicate unnecessary injury resulting from uneven concrete. We are always committed to keeping your family safe for years to come.

The emergence of Winter also comes with it the delights of the holiday season. It is a season of joy, love and friendship. The last thing it should be associated with is danger. This customer and their entire family in Cambridge, Ontario, we're committed to finding an economical and long-lasting solution to their dangerous uneven walkway. They reached out to Andy Moncrieff, Project Manager at Canadian Concrete Leveling for our long-proven track record of providing peace of mind to homeowners. Foreman Kyle McKeown installed the patented PolyLevel® technology to fill the gaps underneath the concrete slabs, raising them to perfectly level. PolyLevel® is designed to withstand for years in the harshest of conditions and will make an unsafe walkway safe in very little time. Have a hazardous walkway? We can help.

PolyLevel® Fixes Hazardous Front Walkway, Guelph, ON

Make your walk into your home a breeze, and not worry about tripping or falling on your way inside. In Guelph, Ontario, our client had a concrete walkway sinking to different heights in various sections. This caused elderly family members and guests to trip over the slabs when coming and going from the home. Project Manager Andy Moncrieff visited the house and agreed that the slabs needed to be levelled as soon as possible to make the home safe. With our PolyLevel® injections done by Installation Specialist Kyle McKeown, the slabs were lifted to a perfectly levelled position. The process took under an hour to set up, install, and cure. The clients were taken aback by how the uneven concrete rose with ease.

Pool Deck Repair in Guelph, ON

A pool deck in Guelph, Ontario, has seen better days. The deck was a significant tripping hazard, especially for barefoot guests, and the concrete was wet. Canadian Concrete Leveling was called to provide a cost-effective and quick solution without having the homeowners replace the whole deck.

Our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, had stopped by the home to create a schematic of what work needed to be done and where it would take place around the pool deck. Even though the process may be fast and straightforward, you need to know exactly where to let the concrete without damaging anything surrounding it, like the inner pool walls.

On a later day, our installation team, Kyle McKeown and Russell, started the PolyLevel® injections to lift the slabs to their original spot. Progressing to the next portion of the job was replacing the floor-to-wall joint sealant located on the side of the home. The existing bond has deteriorated that it is compromising the home's foundation. Next, Kyle and Russell applied our malleable, non-drying, chemical and water-resistant sealant called NexusPro®. This sealant protects the joints, provides a clean finish to your concrete and elevates its appeal.

After the work was completed, the homeowners were thrilled about the entire process. They mentioned that it was a seamless process from start to finish and how open the communication was the whole time. The work did not disrupt the foot traffic and was completed in under 15 minutes. The pool is saved!

Sinking Floor in Guelph, ON

The floor in a basement room in Guelph, Ontario had begun to sink, causing a 2-inch gap between the wall trim and the concrete floor.  Water was leaking in, and it started to rip the carpet on the floor. The cement pad was also cracking underneath. The customers home office was in that room. He relied heavily on that room for his business, but due to the water, he couldn’t have his equipment in there. He needed a quick fix so he could continue to run his business with no future issues. The builders of the home told the customer they would find the best company to fix the problem. The Canadian Concrete Leveling team was more than happy to figure out a solution for this customer's home. We came in and used our PolyLevel® Injection to fix the problem.  It leveled out the floor, which means that there will be no more water, and the concrete slab floor won’t crack again! The floor is now stable, and our customer can continue his business without any worries of future sinking.  The process was natural and non-invasive, it only took 30 minutes.
