This formerly damp and musty crawl space received a brand-new look and feel thanks to our CleanSpace vapor barrier, SuperSump pump system, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air purification system. This crawl space now is dry, and healthy thanks to Carolina Basement Systems!

In this Morganton, NC home, our team completed a full crawlspace encapsulation system featuring a durable vapor barrier, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and SilverGlo wall insulation. The vapor barrier was installed to seal out ground moisture and protect against humidity and mold growth. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to actively control moisture levels and improve air quality throughout the home. To boost energy efficiency, SilverGlo insulation was installed along the crawlspace walls, helping maintain consistent temperatures year-round. This complete system creates a cleaner, drier, and healthier crawlspace for long-term protection.

Humidity, mold growth, and a ripping plastic covering was starting to create problems for this crawl space. It was only a matter of time before the thin plastic would fail and bring the home under code and cause problems such as mold growth from high humidity. We installed our CleanSapce vapor barrier which is designed to protect crawl spaces from moisture getting into the air, and it is extremely durable.
