He knows exactly what kind of solution to implement. Ken is extremely experienced, very polite and always helpful in case of some schedule minor problems. If you want an outstanding designer performance, call Ken. The job in my house was pretty big and we had three different crews working on different things. The number of crew members was always 3, but one of them was always highly experienced and one of them was still in the process of learning. I specifically would like to mention the crew of Esau which came first. Their job was so hard, but they did not relax at all until they completed it; the second team of Fernando Cardoza worked also very hard and the third crew of Mario Barron came recently to complete the job working until 7:30 in the evening without any complains and only smiling. For all of crews I can only say thanks, for your excellent job. All the crews cover the stairs, some furniture left in the basement and all of them clean thoroughly after finishing the job. No garbage was left for us to take care of. Very helpful. It was recommended by my plumber as the only company which can propose and implement the right solution.

I am writing in regard to System Design Specialist Nick Biris from Quality 1st Basement Systems. I recently had a basement system installed in my home as well as a crawlspace encapsulation. For both of these projects, Nick was our main contact with the company. From our initial contact and telephone conversation with Nick, he was friendly and eager to help. He promptly scheduled an in home visit and assessment of my property. Upon his arrival, Nick began a very thorough examination of the property and throughout the assessment he maintained an open and fluid dialog with my wife and I explaining his findings. It quickly became clear that Nick was very knowledgeable in the field of basement/crawlspace waterproofing. In addition to his knowledge, Nick spoke to us on a level we could understand by explaining any industry terms used.  After the physical assessment, Nick provided us with an impressive presentation which both explained the company itself as well as the options offered in order to waterproof our home. It was explained to Nick that we had just purchased our home and this was an unexpected cost. My wife and I felt that Nick genuinely took that into consideration by prioritizing and personalizing our needs. We did not feel as though he was a salesman but rather invested in the solution of the water issues we were experiencing.  Even after the sale was made, Nick remained in contact with us throughout the process, keeping us abreast of the scheduling and any further steps to follow. Any calls or emails were promptly answered and no question seemed too small or insignificant. Nick also addressed an alleviated any issues we had during the installation process.  Nick has a nice personal touch and makes you feel like you have known him for a long time even when you are just meeting him for the first time. His vast knowledge also helps to put you at ease when dealing with such an extensive project to your home. These qualities made us feel as if we were dealing with a small business or more of a “mom and pop” operation rather than such large company. Nick was also very friendly with our two year old daughter and he was understanding and patient since she was present during the estimate.  In conclusion, we were extremely pleased with our dealings with Nick Biris and would recommend him with confidence and great pleasure to anyone in need of the services of Quality 1st Basement System.

After any heavy rains, one side of my home used to get water seepage thru the walls and onto the floor. After having the sump pump and french drain systems installed I am confident that the basement will no longer leak. I first heard about Quality 1st on Angie's List and was impressed by the number of positive reviews on their Angie's List account. When initially calling the office staff for an appointment they were very responsive and were able to answer all of my questions and concerns. My inspector Kenny was very professional and came across like a waterproofing expert and offered affordable solutions for my problem. The installation team installed everything in one day and were overall very courteous and efficient.

OMG!!! I was referred by a friend about the company who had a draining system put in so I called to make an appointment. I was very impressed with Jessica who told me everything I needed to know about my basement. She was very informative so I decided to get the dehumidifier. It was installed on 10/30. Prior to having the system, my basement smelled really bad when i tell you it was horrid.  Just on 10/9/ I went in my basement and I was so amazed at how good the basement now smells. My heating contractor was there as well and I was telling him that this system is the best. I'm so glad that I made this investment. It is the best thing I have, I was telling my heating contractor, who also was impressed. I told him this all happened in within two week time.
