This homeowner from Elmer, NJ needed waterproofing for their basement. There was water leaking in through various places including the windows which was deteriorating the walls. They called Quality 1st Basements for a free estimate. One of our System Design Specialists recommended IceGuard, PowerBrace, TripleSafe, and SunHouse Window Well.
PowerBrace was installed on the walls to support the structure. TripleSafe was installed to take on heavy amounts of water and with its three pumps. SunHouse was installed by the window with its protective lid to seal off the basement window preventing leaks from further damaging the wall. Finally, IceGuard was applied on the discharge line to keep the system from freezing during the winter months.
The homeowner now has peace of mind that their basement is safe from moisture and is structurally secure.
At this property, the dirt floor crawlspace was under the living room section of the house, which was causing the flood to get cold during the winter months. We encapsulated the area with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and laid down a drainage matting under the vapor barrier that captures any moisture that seeps in. Then we installed our SilverGlo insulated wall panel that has been infused with graphite to improve its insulating ability to prevent moisture coming in.
