Recently, a concerned homeowner in Long Branch, NJ contacted us after noticing that several concrete slabs around their backyard pool deck had begun to sink and shift. The uneven surface not only detracted from the beauty of their outdoor space but also posed a growing safety risk for anyone walking near the pool.
Understanding the urgency of the situation, our team conducted a thorough inspection and quickly identified the underlying cause: soil settlement and erosion beneath the slabs. Based on our findings, we developed a tailored repair plan that would provide both immediate stabilization and long-term protection.
To lift and level the sunken concrete, we utilized our high-performance PolyLevel Foam Injection system. This minimally invasive method allowed us to inject expanding polyurethane foam beneath the affected slabs, filling voids and raising the concrete back to its original position with precision. Once leveled, we sealed the joints and cracks using NexusPro, our UV-resistant and flexible joint sealant, to prevent future water intrusion and soil washout. The project was completed efficiently and cleanly, restoring the pool deck’s safety, appearance, and durability, ultimately giving the homeowner confidence that their outdoor space was both beautiful and built to last!
