Homeowner Ken P. in Andover, KS noticed the concrete leading to his front entryway and back patio had settled over time. The concrete had sunk and began to crack in the deepest areas. Frustrated with the appearance and worried about it becoming a tripping hazard, Ken decided it was time to get it fixed. After receiving bids from other companies, he quickly realized none of them had a reputation quite like Thrasher.
To begin the project, System Design Specialist Brent Randolph arrived in Andover, KS to fully inspect the concrete areas that were problematic. The customer opted to have the team install our PolyLevel and NexusPro solutions. PolyLevel is a lightweight and strong high-density foam that lifts and levels the concrete permanently. It’s an effective solution because it not only lifts the concrete, but also compacts the soil underneath to ensure the concrete remains stable. Then, the NexusPro is applied to seal all the cracks and joints. It’s a durable solution that prevents moisture from entering long into the future.
Ken was grateful for our quality of work, display of professionalism, and dedication to doing the job right the first time. Ken loves the way his concrete looks and now has confidence in its functionality.
This customer called us because they had a small area where the walkway and driveway had settled. They were worried about tripping hazards and knew they didn't want to go through the hassle of replacing the concrete.
Our very own, Sheldon Sharp, went to the home to inspect the driveway and come up with a solution. Upon inspection, he found the water from the downspouts had caused voids underneath the garage approach, causing it to settle and crack.
To fix this, we used PolyLevel to fill the void and lift the walkway in the garage approach. We then used NexusPro to fill in all the joints and cracks.
These customers were so happy we were able to fix their initial problem and also identify other areas of concern.
This homeowner waned to fix his concrete walkway because it had become a tripping hazard, so he reached out to us after hearing about our concrete repairs.
We sent System Design Specialist Sheldon Sharp to inspect the walkway and determine what was causing this walkway to sink. Sheldon found that not only was the driveway sunken because of a void underneath the joint, but the driveway was also causing a tripping hazard for the same reason. Sheldon talked to the homeowner about fixing this issue quickly, so that his family wouldn't have to trip over the concrete in his driveway or the walkway. The homeowner agreed, so our team got to work right away injecting PolyLevel foam to lift and level the concrete, then utilizing NexusPro sealant to seal the joints that were now leveled.
The homeowner was over the moon with excitement about how well his driveway and walkway turned out. Check out his newly leveled concrete walkway!
A church in Central City Nebraska was experiencing concrete cracking and sinking due to washout and heavy foot traffic. They had Thrasher come out and perform a revival of the concrete by using PolyLevel to lift and level and then NexusPro to seal the joints.
Check out this transformation! These concrete stairs had started to settle causing major cracking and a dangerous walkup up into this home. Our crew was able to lift the stairs back up into place using PolyLevel foam to fill the voids underneath, then seal the joints and cracks using NexusPro joint sealant protecting the stairs from this happening again.
