In Mankato, MN, a homeowner noticed cracks in their foundation walls. Jessie L. in Litchfield, MN had a couple of damaged foundation walls in her basement that were bowing inward. She contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to her home to inspect her situation and design a solution. Our production team installed 14 wall anchors through the damaged walls in the basement. We drilled small holes through the walls and in to the soil. Then, we dug corresponding holes in the yard and inserted long metal rods. Lastly, we secured the rods by installing anchors on each end. Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew were able to successfully stabilize the basement walls by installing 7 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the damaged foundation. The anchor rods were drilled deep into the soil outside of the home and wall plates installed on each end of the rod to secure the anchor. Then, they tightened the anchor to start the process of straightening the wall. Penny’s peace of mind has been restored, and she is glad she made the investment to protect her home!
