Jerry R. in Luverne, MN noticed the cracks in his foundation were only getting larger over time. He was concerned about the structural integrity of his home, so he started doing some research online. He was happy to learn that American Waterworks has been restoring foundations for 30 years! We sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to meet with Jerry and propose the best, cost-effective solution for his home.
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew were successfully able to stabilize Jerry’s foundation with the installation of 12 of our Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. The wall anchor system permanently stabilizes the foundation by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed soil beyond the foundation. The anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the walls and pull them back to their original position. Jerry was impressed with the quick installation, and we are happy we could restore his peace of mind!
Audrey S. in Jasper, MN had some severe cracks in the walls in her basement that were getting larger over time and putting pressure on the foundation. She was concerned about the bowing walls and the potential damage it could cause. She knew how costly it could be to replace her foundation entirely, so she started researching foundation repair contractors. She was glad to see that American Waterworks has been the leading contractor in foundation repair for nearly 3 decades! She contacted us for a free estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, to evaluate her situation. She was impressed with the proposed solution and moved forward with an installation date.
In order to fully stabilize the damaged foundation, our production crew installed 6 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the basement wall. The anchor rods were drilled deep into the soil outside of the home and wall plates installed on each end of the rod to secure the anchor. Then, they tightened the anchor to start the process of straightening the wall. Audrey is happy she made the investment to protect her home.

The homeowner came across American Waterworks and signed up for their FREE estimate. American Waterworks sent out a Design Specialist, James, to inspect the situation. James discovered severe wall failure in the basement. James suggested Everbrace be implemented. Wanting to salvage the house, the homeowner agreed with the plan. The crew began by breaking up and hauling away any concrete that fell from the failed ledge. Then the crew installed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement with the feedline in to connect the two ends. Additionally, SmartJacks were installed to support the main beam across the basement. Finally, Everbrace was installed on the west and south basement walls to stabilize permanently. The homeowner was beyond pleased that their home had been saved from possible demolition. American Waterworks was happy to please another customer.
