A homeowner in Holmen, WI, was facing concrete issues as their concrete slabs had begun sinking in their walkway and driveway. Knowing the problem would only continue to worsen, the homeowner began looking into concrete lifting contractors in the area and found us. After looking into our company, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate.
In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Will R., arrived at the home for the concrete inspection. Will took a look at the walkway and driveway and explained to the homeowner that soil compaction could be the reason that her concrete slabs have begun sinking. That is why he recommended PolyLevel, our expanding polyurethane formula that effectively lifts sunken slabs. The homeowner happily agreed to Will's recommendation and scheduled the installation date.
In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. PolyLevel is installed by drilling small holes into slabs and injecting PolyLevel beneath them. As the foam expands and fills the voids in the soil, it causes the slabs to lift. Once the slab has been lifted to the desired level, the crew would then seal the holes with cement. After they're done with the installation, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Melissa B. of Maple Grove, MN had a sunken patio, and she wanted to get it repaired. She heard about American Waterworks from a local contractor, so she gave our company a call. She got a FREE inspection from our Design Specialist, Ryan. Ryan proposed our PolyLevel and NexusPro, both of which are two of our main concrete systems. Melissa decided to go ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Troy, and his crew member injected 40 pounds of our PolyLevel to raise and level the concrete surface. Our team also applied 62 feet of our NexusPro over the cracks to prevent moisture from seeping underneath the slab, and to give it a nice finishing look. Melissa was happy with the work and was impressed with how quick of an install it was!

Allen from Maple Grove, MN got in touch with us when he started to notice an uneven walkway to the footsteps of his door. Allen was worried about the potential trip hazards the sinkage of the concrete slab may cause and wanted to address the issue before it has a chance to worsen. Allen then got into contact with the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks and claimed his FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection into the issue. Our Design Specialist, Ben, headed to Allen's property to inspect the damage and give recommendations based on how we can tackle the issue to prevent the concrete slab from worsening. Once completing the thorough inspection, Ben recommended Allen invest in our PolyLevel solution and finish with our NexusPro solution. Allen agreed with the solution and the installation began shortly after. Our poly crew then strategically drilled holes into the concrete slabs that had sinkage to inject the PolyLevel Solution. The PolyLevel solution is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected underneath the concrete slabs, to fill the voids underneath the slab that were caused by soil erosion. Once the polyurethane has been injected the crew then finished the project by sealing the cracks and joints with our NexusPro solution. the NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that is formulated for flexibility and long-lasting to survive harsh weather conditions, helping ensure that the concrete will stay raised.
Allen was happy with the work and to know that the issue will not worsen causing any casualties!

A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, got in touch with us when she decided she wanted to address her front walkway, which had been showing signs of slowly sinking over time. After seeing one of our printed ads, she decided to give us a call and claim her FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Gary S, headed out to the home.
Once Gary finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Gary explained that American Waterworks could address the sinking concrete by using our PolyLevel lifting method. He went on to say that our PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He finished by informing her that we finish our lifts by installing our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent debris and moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed with the proposed work and the job was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam K, and his team were able to complete the lift and sealing to the customer's satisfaction. Now our customer can enjoy her front walk!

A Maple Grove, MN, homeowner was very concerned about her front walkway and steps. Over time, the concrete had begun settling and slowly sinking away from the adjoining concrete stairs. In addition, the concrete slab the stairs were placed on was also sinking, and formed a giant crack running lengthwise on the slab. Not wanting to sacrifice safety any longer, she decided to call American Waterworks on the recommendation of a friend. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home to complete the inspection. Once she completed her walkthrough, she met with the homeowner to give her recommendations.
She informed the homeowner that concrete sinking and settling can happen for a variety of reasons, but that American Waterworks could address the issue using our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to slowly fill voids left by soil erosion and slowly lift the slab back into place. Our Design Specialist finished by saying that once the lift has been completed, our team will go in with our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, this product gets applied to the cracks and joints in the concrete to prevent water from getting below the slab to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner agreed with the recommendation and the work was scheduled for some time later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Ryan T, and his team were able to lift the stoop and seal the crack in the patio slab. Now, our customer is thrilled to know her front walkway has a refreshed look and newfound safety!
