Sinking Concrete Lifted with PolyLevel in Holcombe, WI

A homeowner in Holcombe, WI, noticed that his sunken concrete walkway had caused the area to become bumpy and uneven. Knowing the issue would only worsen and that he needed expert advice, the homeowner began searching for "concrete lifting in Holcombe, WI" and found us. After looking through our website and becoming impressed by our reviews, the homeowner contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Ross J., arrived at the home for the inspection, to look over the areas of concern, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, Ross explained to the homeowner that one of the most common causes of sinking slabs is soil washout. Soil washout is the process in which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils of the slabs. Over time, gaps are created in the soil, causing the concrete slabs to sink. That is why Ross recommended PolyLevel, our waterproof foam expanding formula that allows for accurate lifting of sunken concrete, and NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant, to seal the joint where the step and slab meet. The homeowner happily agreed to Ross's recommendations, and his design was sent to our Foreman.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs. Then, PolyLevel is injected beneath the slab and fills the voids in the soil. Once the slab has been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joint in front of the step.

Concrete gets New Look in Willard, WI

In Willard, WI a homeowner was unhappy with the way the concrete of their porch area looked after many years of being worn down from outside elements. They decided to take action and fix the problem rather than leave it untouched for another summer. Having heard some recommendations and favor towards American Waterworks and their services, they decided to give us a call and learn more. They were pleased to discover our FREE estimate service that is offered to all customers and waited eagerly for their scheduled appointment. One of our Design Specialists, Charles Haldeman, arrived at the home to take a look at what could be done. He suggested to the homeowners that our PolyLevel and NexusPro products would be the best way to tackle the problem. He explained that PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. Additionally, the NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that seals joints and cracks in the concrete slabs and helps prevent the water from softening and/or eroding the soil underneath. Once a plan was in place to move forward with the two products, one of our Foreman, Sam Klennert, and his crew left for the site to make the installations. A seamless installation led to a similarly seamless concrete porch area for the homeowners.

When the estimate was finalized, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike, to investigate the status of the sidewalk. When Mike arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began his evaluation. Mike found that the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the sidewalk from sinking further, Mike suggested that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner agreed and production commenced. Our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew arrived at the home and got their materials ready for the PolyLevel installation. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution. The crew inserted the PolyLevel underneath the entire sidewalk leading into the home. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew shifted their focus to inserting the NexusPro Solution into the joints of the sidewalk.
