In Clermont, IA, a homeowner was tired of dealing with a sunken driveway. It was continuously getting worse over time, and it had become a trip hazard for him and his family. During the inspection, he took a close look at the concrete slabs and determined which needed lifting. In about a month, our Foreman, Brandon W, drilled small holes throughout the concrete slabs that needed to be raised. Next, they injected the foam into the holes until the slabs were raised back to their original position. The entire process only took half a day, and now our customer is able to enjoy level concrete for years to come. This concrete slab, next the garage, sunk 8 inches.  American Waterworks was able to lift the concrete back to it original position and the homeowner was able to drive on the slab 30 minutes later. 

Jill from St. Charles, MN, gave us a call when she began to notice that the stairs in front of her home were beginning to sink, creating a gap between the concrete stairs and the slab below. She was afraid that if she didn't address the issue she would run the risk of a tripping hazard forming, potentially costing more to fix later down the road. Jill gave the green light and work began shortly after. Our Production crew, led by Foreman Ben K., began the process by strategically drilling holes into the concrete slabs, and then injected the foam into the holes. They closely monitored the lifting and leveling process to ensure that the slab returned to its former state. To finish the project, they went over all cracks and joints between the house and the concrete with our NexusPro. When the work had been completed, Jill was happy to know that the potential tripping hazard had been dealt with.
