This Goodrich homeowner was working on the curb appeal of his home before putting it on the market. He knew how important curb appeal is when it comes to selling a home - it attracts the attention of home buyers and adds value. But the walkway slabs leading to the porch were lopsided with messy weeds growing in-between the cracks. The concrete need some TLC! 

HomeSpec came to the rescue with our innovative PolyLevel system. The slabs were leveled, sealed, and ready to go the same day. The joints were also sealed to prevent weeds from growing again. The homeowner was happy he hired the right contractors to complete his concrete job!

A Burton, MI homeowner noticed how much their sidewalk and driveway had changed. The concrete was sinking in various spots and speckled with cracks. The homeowner intended to stay at this residence for at least five more years and did not want these conditions to worsen over that time. They decided to call HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair about leveling the concrete. One of HomeSpec’s senior project managers, Ted, went to the home and provided a free inspection. 

After evaluating the slants and depths of the sinking concrete, Ted shared that HomeSpec would be able to level the concrete using PolyLevel® Injection Foam and repair the cracks using NexusPro sealant. The homeowner was happy with these options and agreed to have HomeSpec do these repairs. HomeSpec’s PolyLevel foremen, Domonique and Fred, led the teams in this process. One team focused on the lifting while the other focused on sealing the cracks and joints. The finished product was even and sealed concrete from where the road meets the driveway to the garage.

For many people, the concrete around their home is just an absolute eyesore. Cracked and sunken concrete negatively affects the curb appeal of the home, and even creates tripping hazards. Most people don't consider fixing it a priority because they think the task will be too much of a headache. That's what this Genesee homeowner thought about his driveway project. There were many cracked slabs, and there was a large gap between the house and the driveway. 

But when a friend told him about HomeSpec's PolyLevel system, the homeowner finally decided to get his concrete repaired. After an inspector came out to see the damage and provide a proposal, our concrete specialists got to work.

With the PolyLevel system, a small penny-sized hole is drilled into the concrete. Then the expanding 2-part polymer rigid foam is injected underneath. As it expands, it fills in the voids between the soil and the slab. This raises the slab up and levels it with the rest of the concrete. And BOOM - it's finished! This is an environmentally safe, quick, non-invasive, cost-effective way to repair concrete. 

Several slabs were cracked, so we filled them in with our NexusPro sealant. The homeowner was very pleased with the quick and easy process, and with how much better his driveway looks now!
