We met with homeowners in Kittery, Maine who wanted to encapsulate their crawl space. Dirt floors are common in crawl spaces, but they often let moisture seep in and wreak havoc. We installed our two-step encapsulation system, first a layer of drainage matting to control the groundwater, and then a layer of CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal out the moisture. Spray Foam insulation was installed on the walls and rim joists. Spray Foam is both water and mold resistant, so it is a great option for basements and crawl spaces.

We transformed this Kittery, Maine crawl space that was damp and musty, into a dry and healthy space. The old dirt floors allowed moisture to seep in, causing the fiberglass insulation to be damp and sag.
