Homeowners in Castine, Maine had a basement that was wet all the time and they needed help. We installed a SuperSump pump system to manage the incoming water and pump it away from the home. The SuperSump can remove over 2,200 gallons of water per hour with a 1/3 horsepower Zoeller pump. The water is pumped away through an exterior buried discharge line, and the discharge line is proteced with IceGuard to prevent freezing up in the winter months.
A Harborside, ME homeowner was experiencing heavy water coming in through their basement walls and floor. The original floor was cracked and leaking, so we poured a brand new slab floor complete with WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard channels any moisture to the new TripleSafe sump pump, which then carries the water away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. The basement is now protected from water damage so the homeowner can use their space with confidence.
With a relatively old sump pump in their basement, this Old Town, ME homeowner had begun to notice their basement would retain some water after rainfall. Looking to remedy this problem, the homeowner hired us at TC Hafford Basement Systems. As soon as our crew was able to get out to the home, they began work on the basement foundation by installing a WaterGuard piping system around the majority of the perimeter of the space. These pipes lay beneath the surface of the floor where they trap incoming water and guide it to the TripleSafe pump installed in the existing sump. The TripleSafe will force any collected water out of the home through a PVC discharge line protected by both an IceGuard and LawnScape segments. With both the WaterGuard system as well as a TripleSafe pump, this basement will now be protected against moisture build up without the water ever reaching the surface of the floor and remain protected even during power outages.
Now that their basement is properly waterproofed, this homeowner can utilize the space without fearing water damaging their property. The WaterGuard piping will keep this basement floor dry for years into the future.
Homeowners from Verona Island, Maine contacted us for a free estimate to install a sump pump and perimeter drainage system. Their basement was often flooding, and they were tired of dealing with the wet mess. We installed WaterGuard perimeter drainage system, which captures any water seeping in from the walls or floor. WaterGuard connects to the new TripleSafe sump pump, bringing the water to the sump to be pumped away from the home. The TripleSafe sump system has two Zoeller pumps, as well as a third battery backup pump. Even if your home loses power during a storm, the TripleSafe will keep operating, protecting your basement.
This Brewer, ME homeowner never liked to make use of their basement due to the constant damp conditions. They would soon change their mind once they had us over at TC Hafford Basement Systems take a look. Our crew got to work waterproofing this space by surrounding the perimeter of the basement with a WaterGuard piping system buried beneath the floor. These pipes will guide any trapped water to a new TripleSafe sump pump installed in the floor nearby. The TripleSafe will then remove the water from the basement through a discharge line. Lastly, to brighten up the space and keep any moisture on the walls under control, a CleanSpace Wall System was put in place. Now this homeowner can enjoy the utility of a dry basement for the rest of their time spent in this home!
