Lally columns were rusting, and the floors above were beginning to sag. We installed SmartJacks to properly stabilize the support of the home. SmartJacks are zinc-coated steel posts that will never rust, and are custom fit to level the floors of the home. They can be adjusted over time if needed as the house continues to settle.

After providing a free estimate, we recommended installing PowerBraces to support the home. PowerBraces are custom fit steel beams that are attached to the floor joists to support the home and prevent further shifting of the wall. PowerBraces can be adjusted over time to even straighten the wall back to its original position!

We installed Spray Foam insulation along the rim joists around the perimeter of the basement. Spray Foam expands as it is applied, filling every gap and crack to create an air tight seal. It immediately improves the energy efficiency of the home. Spray Foam is also water and mold resistant, so it is a great option for below grade spaces.
