I am very satisfied overall with The Basement Doctor.  Dennis was great to work with.  He was knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions.   Great crew!  Andrew was especially helpful at keeping me informed during the entire job.  They did a good job keeping the mess to a minimum.   I chose The Basement Doctor from online research I did previous to calling their office.  I was looking for a local, reputable company with references that would offer a good warranty and reliable service during and after the repair.  Overall I was pleased with the work they performed, as my foundation repair was quite the challenge.  This is always expensive work, especially when excavation is required, however I feel it was money well spent, and at a reasonable cost.  I will recommend The Basement Doctor and their staff!

Our overall experience was a positive experience from our first phone call until the job was completed. Albert came in a timely manner and did not use the scare tactics that other businesses used. He assuaged our fears and explained everything in detail. He patiently took our phone calls when we had additional questions. We have never had a work crew come into our home and treat it with as much respect as they did. They were neat and courteous and left our home in good condition. They were very careful to not do anything that would jeopardize the integrity of the structure of our home. 

My wife and I recently had some major foundation/waterproofing work done to our house in Frankfort, KY with Mr. Daniel Flora as our Foreman. Throughout the week of 12 JUL 21, his crew installed multiple piers to repair our falling basement in addition to installing a sump pump with waterproofing around the perimeter of the house. I was very impressed with his crew's professionalism and attentiveness to our questions and respect for our property. Mr. Flora was always available to answer any questions I had and he and his crew always arrived promptly at 0800 every day ready to begin work. It was anticipated the work to take a week; even with some minor setbacks his crew still completed the work early on Friday. His crew also worked around my inexperience with carpentry as I had agreed to prepare the outer walls prior to their arrival (didn't quite get that part finished when I wanted). Their craftsmanship was impressive as well. When they were complete with the pier installation, Daniel's crew back-graded the disturbed area away from the house very well and it won't take us long at all to return our yard to its original conditions. As part of the waterproofing, Daniel's crew cemented the floors to cover the waterproofing system. Their cement work was very smooth and once it cures, I'll be able to return the walls back to their original condition. I can't brag on this crew and company enough. The price for the amount of work I needed was good and their service was excellent!! Most of my recommendations for business come through word-of-mouth and I will definitely be pointing anyone to Daniel and The Basement Doctor!!

The office staff was very pleasant and very efficient.  We had seen the commercials on TV.  We were very pleased with technician, Terry Steele. When he came for the pre checkup, he kept us informed about when his arrival would be since he was working late.  Also, he was so well mannered and answered our questions.

Walt Fanthorp is the reason we ended up choosing to do business with The Basement Doctor.  He conducted the third estimate we had done.  While other salespeople/technicians were cordial and professional Mr. Fanthorp went above and beyond.  He did not complain about the idiosyncrasies of our basement like other companies' reps did; rather he stated his opinion of the required solution in a straightforward manner.  He also showed me a video of the water guard technology as well as how houses are built at the foundation and basement level-no one else ever came close to helping me understand how water was likely getting into the basement.  He was also friendly and down-to-earth and easy to talk to, and, unlike the sales reps from other companies we spoke with, he actually smiled a lot and appeared to really enjoy his work and believe in his company.  He did a great job building a relationship with me in a short amount of time, and as a result, I felt really good about giving my business to Basement Doctor.   I originally found out about the company through an internet search.  But, as I mentioned above, I chose this company largely due to the professionalism and friendliness of Mr. Fanthorp as well as his proposed solution to our basement water issue.  In addition, I was impressed with the water guard technology and felt that would suit our needs as water was seeping into the basement at times through one particular wall, and the price was lower than that quoted by other companies on the order of two grand or so.  For all of these reasons and above all the courtesy and professionalism of Mr. Fanthorp, we decided to choose the basement doctor. 

Your salesperson presented the product and installation procedure in great detail.  He knows his job and products very well!  And the installation crew did an outstanding job and the work was finished in just two days.  Every man in the crew knew his job and they worked well as a team.  Thank you men!

I am very pleased with the outcome and the process to rid my basement of water leaks.  The team worked great as a team and were very professional.  They explained the process as it ocurred.  They were careful to protect my furnishings.  I have already recommended The Basement Doctor to four families. 

Because of our age, we did not want to worry about lack of power to run our sump pumps. Battery backups provide us with peace of mind during storms. Both the sales rep and installer were very informative about the products.

We met Brent at our pre-inspection. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in letting us know what to expect. WE are very glad that he was our foreman for the job. The best part this job was working with Brent Adams as our foreman. He led a very hard working crew. Very friendly and polite. The staff is polite and courteous. Some additional contact was required in order to fulfill requests.
