This crawlspace was dirty and wasting a lot of energy on heat before we repaired it. After we encapsulated and insulated it by using CleanSpace walls, SilverGlo insulation panels, a SaniDry dehumidifier, and spray foam insulation, the crawlspace was clean and efficient at keeping the house warm during the colder months.
This crawl space in Nicholasville, KY, was damp, uninsulated, and contributing to uncomfortable indoor air conditions. The exposed soil and concrete walls left the home vulnerable to moisture, mold, and energy loss.
We installed our 20 mil CleanSpace vapor barrier across the floor and walls, paired with SilverGlo insulation panels to help seal and condition the space. The result: a clean, dry, insulated crawl space that now works for the home—not against it.
The owner of this home wanted her crawlspace encapsulated because her nativity figures needed proper protection against mold and humidity. We were able to encapsulate her crawlspace with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which will block moisture out of the crawl space. We also insulated her crawl space, which will help keep her home warm during the Winter. Now that she has a healthy crawl space, she won't have to worry about her personal items becoming damaged any longer.
This homeowner in Lexington, KY, took great pride in having the best festivity decorations in the whole neighborhood. They stored a lot of their decorations in their basement, including the witches seen in this before photo. However, you may notice that the homeowner had to keep their storage items a few inches from the floor of the basement due to flooding concerns. On top of the flooding, the humidity levels were high in the basement due to moisture transference through the walls. When we waterproofed the basement with our subfloor drains, our sump pump, and our dehumidifier, we also made sure to wrap the leaky walls with our CleanSpace system. This bright, fresh, and durable vapor barrier will make sure that this basement stays dry and clean. Now that the basement is safe from moisture, the homeowners can feel safe storing their seasonal items in the basement.
This crawl space in Lexington, KY, had a very serious moisture problem. The first step we took to get the moisture under control was waterproofing the crawl space. We waterproofed by installing perforated drainage pipes underneath the floor around the perimeter of the crawl space. We then hooked these pipes up to a sump pump in the corner. After waterproofing, we then sealed the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, spray foam, and vent covers. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the air in the newly transformed space dry and clean as possible. The homeowner was very pleased with the outcome, specifically the boost in their homes value.
