This home had some large cracks in its basement, allowing water to seep in. We installed FlexiSpan for the cracks, effectively stopping water from coming by the cracks. However, water was also coming up through the floor. To fix this, we installed WaterGuard and a Super Sump. Lastly, we installed BrightWall paneling, giving the basement a nice finished look. The owner can now finish the basement however they like, without having to worry about water damage.
This homeowner was tired of having to walk around their house with a coat on during the winter. They also had a bit of a moisture problem in the basement from water leakage. Moisture in a home can make heating and cooling the air much more difficult, so we suggested to the homeowner two things; We install our waterproofing system in the problematic area, and we install the best insulation panels we have. These insulation panels are called Basement to Beautiful, and they are perfect for not just insulating your basement, but for also preparing your basement for finished walls. If you want to learn why these panels are the best for pre-finishing your basement, click here.
Before waterproofing, this Harrodsburg, KY basement was plagued by persistent dampness and musty odors. After our intervention, the space is now dry, bright, and protected. We installed BrightWall® panels, which not only enhance the basement's appearance but also direct wall seepage into the drainage system, preventing moisture intrusion. The WaterGuard® subfloor drainage system was added to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint, ensuring efficient water management. To handle water removal, we implemented the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, featuring three pumps that provide continuous operation even during power outages, offering unparalleled protection against flooding.
In Georgetown, KY, this home’s basement was beginning to show signs of stress from heavy hydrostatic pressure along an outside corner of the foundation. Water intrusion and shifting soils had caused cracks and leaks, and the corner walls were starting to lean inward. Contributing factors may have included poor grading, loose backfill, undersized gutters, or simply an excess of rainfall.
Fortunately, the homeowner addressed the issue early. Our team stabilized the two affected walls using CarbonArmor straps, (as seen in the before photo), preventing any further lateral movement. Once the structure was secure, we moved on to waterproofing the corner with our proprietary system.
We installed subfloor WaterGuard drains in perimeter trenches and set a SuperSump basin in the corner. A 1/3 HP Zoeller pump was placed inside the basin, then sealed with an airtight lid. To finish, we concealed the drainage system with new concrete and covered the stabilized walls with BrightWall panels. These panels not only provide a clean, finished look by hiding the carbon straps but also add protection against future moisture thanks to their waterproof composition. This homeowner was happy enough to leave us a five star google review.
This Georgetown, KY, homeowner had an outdated sump pump that struggled to keep up during heavy rain, leaving their basement vulnerable to flooding. We replaced their old system with our TripleSafe sump pump, which provides triple the protection. The TripleSafe includes a powerful primary pump, a secondary pump for backup, and a battery-powered unit that keeps working even during power outages. After the upgrade, the homeowner now has a reliable waterproofing system built to handle any storm with complete peace of mind.
