This basement was growing mold and musty odors, which was a problem for the inhabitants above it. We decided we were going to help them get rid of these problems once and for all. We installed WaterGuard around the whole perimeter interior, a TripleSafe sump pump attached with an UltraSump 4 battery back up, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, trench drains, discharge lines with LawnScape outlets, and BrightWall around the whole basement. This family was happy with the outcome. 

This home's pretty side walk and drive way were becoming old and contained large gaps and cracks, something we aimed to fix. We were able to PolyLevel lift specific parts of the concrete to raise all the slabs to be on the same level. We then sealed the gaps with NexusPro sealant. These concrete slabs are repaired and protected now. 

This basement in Owenton, KY, was experiencing immense amount of water pressure outside the foundation. The horizontal crack along the wall in the before picture is right where the frost line is in the soil outside the basement. A wall may bow and crack horizontally near the frost line due to frost heave — a natural but damaging process that happens when moisture in the soil freezes and expands.  We relieved the pressure by first waterproofing with our subfloor drains and our sump pump. We then stabilized the walls by installing our steel PowerBrace I-beams. We also added a CleanSpace vapor barrier behind the beams to help drain wall leaks down into the subfloor system. The homeowner was happy to know that they no longer have to worry about their leaky bowing walls. 

This crawl space in Hustonville, KY, needed a proper repair project to safeguard the foundation from moisture. You see, the floor joists in the crawl space were receiving lots of moisture, which could potentially ruin the framing in the space over time. We wrapped our CleanSpace vapor barrier around the entire space to prevent moisture from running rampant. This project came with some added side benefits to like cleaner air throughout the rest of the home, better insulation properties, and added storage space.

This basement in Kings Mountain, KY, was struggling to keep water off of the floor. The soil outside this basement had a naturally high water table due to the grade of their land. This was causing water to rise up through the coves in the basement, right around the perimeter of the basement. We ended up installing our interior perimeter waterproofing system, which will guarantee this basement will stay dry. The homeowner liked this solution, as it didn't require and regrading around their home, any excavating around their foundation, or any other major disturbance. All we had to do was move the furnace unit, jackhammer the floor around the perimeter of the basement, fit our WaterGuard subfloor drains in the floor, install our SuperSump sump pump, and recovering the drains with a fresh layer of concrete. The homeowner was happy that they were able to achieve a dry basement without any disruption to their yard.
