Shifting Concrete in Parkersburg, IA Stabilized with NexusPro Joint Sealant

Rodney M. was tired of having snow shovel catch during the winter months and he noticed the shape of his concrete was starting to decline. Looking for a solution to prevent further damage from occurring he brought up his concerns during an annual maintenance call with Service Tech Brandon Rost, who was able to identify and provide a one-step solution for Rodney’s needs.

Brandon was able to pinpoint that the concrete drive and sidewalks were impacted by unsealed joints which were causing voids to form allowing water to enter. We were able to provide a permanent solution using NexusPro Joint Sealant, as well as a hydrophobic poly to stabilize the voids and prevent further movement. After we completed the work not only was Rodney happy with how fast the project came along but he also noticed an impact on visuals and aesthetics of his home!

Concrete Repair in Newton, IA

This homeowner was worried about the water that was flooding towards her foundation. Her sump pump was working well to keep water out, however she was worried that it would get overwhelmed and stop working in the future. Unsure of where water was flowing to her foundation, she called us for her free estimate.

We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Paulson to inspect the home's perimeter and determine the path the water was flowing towards the homeowner's foundation. Tyler found that the driveway concrete was uneven and water was flowing in between the voids that the concrete left and towards the foundation. The soil underneath the driveway had eroded, so there were gaps for water to sneak towards the foundation. Tyler and his team knew just what to do, so after consulting the homeowner, they began to repair the driveway. The crew leveled and sealed the concrete so that water could no longer flow underneath the concrete using PolyLevel Concrete Leveling and NexusPro Cracked Concrete Repair.

The customer was very satisfied with the work that was done, and she no longer has to worry about her sump pump becoming overwhelmed. Check out her driveway repair!

Street Creep Expands Concrete in Newton, IA

This homeowner noticed that her foundation wall was starting to get pushed inwards. Soon after, she noticed that grass and weeds were growing non stop in the joints of her concrete on her driveway. She wanted these problems to stop, and since she had used our services before, she gave us another call.

We sent Service Technician Austin Dermody to inspect the source of the foundation wall falling and come up with a solution to fix both of the homeowner's problems. Austin found that street creep was causing the concrete in the garage to grow into the foundation wall next to it. There were also voids underneath the concrete which were causing them to crack. Austin knew just what to do to fix this problem, so he started right away and he utilized PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the concrete, in addition to installing Compression Guard Expansion Joint to stop the street creep which caused the concrete to grow initially.

The homeowner was very happy with the results and she is relieved that her foundation is secure. Check out her new Compression Guard System!
