In good old Bettendorf, IA, we’ve got a tale of two concretes—meet the "before" photo, complete with sunken slabs busy doing the wave! The owner gave us a shout before things took a serious nosedive.

Our System Design Specialist, Chris Hebbel, arrived on-site to inspect the uneven concrete and design a permanent stabilization and leveling plan.

Jennifer was very upset that her sidewalk had sunken 2 inches from her porch when her home was recently new. She searched for solutions to her problem and found MidAmerica Basement Systems’ PolyLevel solution. During her inspection, Mac had diagnosed how the issue had become apparent so quickly. A downspout was placed right next to the sidewalk, and was causing washouts, leaving large voids for the concrete to sink in.
