This homeowner recently reached out to us here at Atlanta Basement Systems, with concerns of soft, unlevel floors in their home. Issues of this magnitude mean that the structural integrity of the home is compromised, and we want to fix this issue as soon as possible and return peace of mind to the homeowner. Titus and his crew installed 4 SmartJacks in the crawl space of this home, to level and stabilize the floors. SmartJacks are installed into the ground of the crawl space to the stable soil, and all of the steel beams are connected, and the system is tightened into place. This immediately stabilizes the floors, and the home levels.

This customer was dealing with sagging floors due to the strucutral integrity of their foundation deteriorating. To resolve these issues for them, Jaime and his crew installed SmartJacks. SmartJacks are steel beams that are installed into the ground and joists. All of the pieces are connected, and tightened into place, immediately stabilizing and leveling the floors. It looks as if this customer had pre-existing foundation issues, and gotten them fixed, however they did not hold up and the customer was still dealing with the structural foundation of their home. They gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems and we were able to send a sales representative out to look at the home, and see what we would be able to do to ensure that the foundation of the home was going to withstand. After the sales representative conducted an inspection they were able to determine that SmartJacks were going to be the answer to all of these problems. The SmartJacks are steel beams that are placed in the ground, down to the stable soil, and then surrounded with concrete for extra stability. All of the beams are then connected, and tightened in place, immediately leveling and securing the foundation. They help to transfer the weight of the foundation from the home onto the stable soil. This customer was left with the peace of mind of knowing that he was never going to have to deal with structural foundation issues again.

This customer was noticing an issue with wavy floors in his home. This is when the floors are not properly stabilized and he wanted the framing structure of the floors fixed. Our crew was sent out to fix this issue for him, and we were able to do this with SmartJacks. These are steel beams that are placed in the space, they help to hold and distribute the load of the homes foundation. Once all of the steel parts are placed and stabilized, the SmartJack system is tightened in place to strengthen and lift the floors back to level. This customer was very happy with his results, and no longer had to worry about the structural integrity of the foundation of his home.
