The homeowners goal was to permanently stabilize the floor system with a focus on lifting the drop/sagging the the floor above their garage. To lift the floor to its original position we installed 2 SmartJack support posts at each end of their LVL beam.

This home had some serious foundation sagging due to the poor support in the crawl space. In the before photo, you can see the weakened damaged wood post, that is bending under the weight of the floor. To solve this issue, we installed SmartJacks, along with a few steel supplemental beams. SmartJacks can be easily adjusted, making them easier to install in tight spaces than other options. Unlike beams or wood posts, the SmartJacks won't rot or shift over time. Now this homeowner can rest assured that they have a solid foundation.

In the crawl space, moisture and weakened piers caused the support beams and floor joists to sag and settle. This led to the floors above to sag and feel bouncy. The most effective solution to repair these issues was to install a steel supplemental support beam and SmartJack support posts.
