The foundation on this house had rotted due to the high humidity so the homeowner called the experts here at DryZone to come out and fix it up. To do this we had to install an I-beam supported by the SmartJack system so we could first take out the girder and replace it. We then removed the rotten wood from the outside of the house and replaced it with new boards. 

Standing water can cause erosion of dirt underneath a home. When floor supports are in eroded ground, they can start to sink, causing floors above to sag. With Smart Jacks and an encapsulation, your foundation is protected from further water damages. 

Often as homes grow older and settle into the dirt the structural integrity can be compromised and the floors will begin to sag. This can be fixed with the installation of A SmartJack under the area of the floor which has begun to sag. The SmartJack will then be used to raise it back into its original position and support it for many years to come.
