The same video was also shared on a popular spin-off blog of Gizmodo, called Sploid, where users can share photos and videos of "all things awesome."

Views for the original product video on YouTube increased significantly from an average of 150 views per day to more than 105,000 views on Jan. 22, the same day the video was shared on Reddit. Views on YouTube are now averaging between 8,000 and 10,000 views per day.
