This homeowner in Neenah, WI contacted Sure-Dry after their front sidewalk had settled several inches, creating a large drop where it met the front steps. The concrete had also begun sloping away from the house, causing water to collect in low spots instead of draining properly.
The uneven slabs had become a serious trip hazard for family and guests, and with each Wisconsin freeze/thaw season, the settlement continued to get worse. Open joints and cracks were also allowing water to seep beneath the concrete, washing away the supporting soil and accelerating the problem.
The homeowner wanted to restore the sidewalk before it became an even bigger safety issue or required complete replacement.
Our team restored the sidewalk using PolyLevel Injection Foam, carefully lifting and leveling the sunken slabs back toward their original position without tearing out the existing concrete. The expanding foam filled the voids beneath the sidewalk while stabilizing the supporting soil for a long-lasting repair.

Before: A homeowner in Neenah, WI contacted Sure-Dry after noticing sections of their concrete driveway and front walkway had become uneven and settled over time. The sinking slabs created tripping hazards near the front entrance and caused water to collect in low areas during heavy rain and snowmelt. Like many homes throughout Winnebago County and the Fox Valley region, repeated freeze-thaw cycles and shifting soils beneath the concrete had caused the slabs to crack and sink. The homeowner was searching for a concrete lifting company and concrete leveling contractor that could restore the existing concrete without the expense and disruption of replacement.
Traditional mudjacking, also referred to as slab jacking, can place additional weight on already unstable soils and often requires larger drill holes throughout the slab surface. The homeowner wanted a long-lasting concrete floor repair and concrete step repair solution that would improve safety, drainage, and curb appeal around the property.
After: Sure-Dry inspected the driveway and front walkway and identified multiple settlement areas beneath the affected concrete slabs. To restore the surfaces, the crew installed PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam beneath the settled sections to carefully lift and level the concrete back into position. Unlike traditional mudjacking methods, PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam is lightweight, cures quickly, and helps reduce additional stress on weakened soils beneath the slab.
