Before:
A homeowner in Denmark noticed bouncy, uneven floors, small gaps opening at baseboards, and interior doors beginning to stick. In the crawl space, several wood posts were tilting on undersized pads, and some joists showed signs of deflection. The homeowner wanted a permanent, code-compliant fix that wouldn’t require major demolition.
After:
We installed the SmartJack® system to stabilize and lift the floor system. Each steel support was set on an engineered footing designed to distribute loads and resist settlement. After placing new steel support beams where needed, we adjusted the SmartJacks® to bring floors back toward level and eliminate bounce.
The result is a solid, stable first floor and a crawl space with reliable, adjustable structural support for long-term performance.
Before: A garage foundation wall in Denmark, WI was showing signs of movement and needed stabilization. The affected wall included a small window, making it important to use a solution that could reinforce the wall while working around the existing opening.
After: Sure-Dry installed the GeoLock Channel Anchor System to stabilize the garage wall and help prevent further inward movement. The system provides strong, long-term support while accommodating the existing window.
Before: This older Denmark, WI home had a fieldstone basement with multiple structural problems. The foundation walls were failing, and inadequate support beneath the home was contributing to concerns with the floor system above. Moisture coming through the old masonry walls was another issue that needed to be addressed.
After: Sure-Dry installed the EverBrace Wall Restoration System to stabilize the failing foundation walls and the SmartJack System to provide permanent support beneath the floor system. CleanSpace was installed along the walls to create a durable vapor barrier and help manage moisture entering through the fieldstone foundation.
Our Sure-Dry team installed 20 GeoLocks to these homeowner's bowed walls and over time will strengthen and straighten the walls back to their original location.
Before
A homeowner in New Franken, WI contacted Sure-Dry about foundation wall movement in a basement where our team had installed a basement waterproofing system many years earlier. While the existing waterproofing continued addressing groundwater around the basement, the foundation walls had developed a separate structural concern that required attention. Bowing or inward-moving basement walls can develop as pressure from the surrounding soils increases, particularly with Northeast Wisconsin’s changing moisture levels and freeze-thaw conditions. The homeowner turned back to Sure-Dry to evaluate the foundation and determine the appropriate foundation repair solution.
After
Sure-Dry installed the PowerBrace™ Wall Stabilization System along the affected foundation walls. The engineered steel beams were secured tightly against the walls and anchored at the basement floor and framing above to provide permanent stabilization without requiring excavation outside the home. The system is designed to prevent additional inward movement and, when conditions allow, can be adjusted over time in an effort to improve the wall’s position. With the PowerBrace system installed alongside the home's existing waterproofing improvements, the homeowner now has protection addressing both water management and structural stability in the basement.
