Before: Sunken Concrete, Trip Hazards, and Frustration

In Greenville, WI, a homeowner was struggling with a large concrete driveway and adjoining walkway that had begun to sink and settle unevenly. Over time, the slabs had shifted several inches, creating:

Sure-Dry LLC was called in to lift and level the concrete using our polyurethane injection system, a fast and minimally invasive solution.

In just a few hours, we:

• Lifted the sunken driveway slabs back to their original position

• Re-leveled the walkway to eliminate trip hazards

• Restored the curb appeal and functionality of the entire area

Unlike traditional mudjacking, our polyurethane foam sets quickly, meaning the homeowner could use the surface again that same day.

A homeowner in Greenville, WI was dealing with driveway and walkway settlement caused by Fox Valley’s fluctuating groundwater and freeze–thaw conditions. Several slabs had dropped unevenly, creating trip hazards and improper drainage toward the garage. After:
Sure-Dry lifted the settled slabs using PolyLevel® to restore proper height and stability. After the lift, joints and cracks were sealed with NexusPro®, a long-lasting, UV-resistant sealant designed to prevent water infiltration and protect the concrete from further damage.
The driveway and walkways are now level, protected, and visually restored for long-term performance.

Sinking concrete can be a big problem when it comes to finding the right solution. Concrete replacement is a lot of money and time costly. Mudjacking causes a great mess and will need to be done many times. These homeowners were looking for a different option so they called Sure-Dry Basement Systems.

We offered them our PolyLevel Injection. Our polymers drill a hole the size of a penny into the sunken concrete. Polyurethane foam is then injected under the slab ,which is waterproof, so the foam will not be washed out. The hole is then filled in and is ready to be walked on or used in 10 minutes. 

These homeowners never thought they would find such an inexpensive and easy solution to their sunken concrete and they couldn't be happier with the results! 

In Neenah, WI we sealed the joints in the concrete using NexusPro Joint Sealant, to eliminate the growth of weeds and to eliminate the availability of water to wash out the soil below. The crew also used PolyLevel to raise the slabs that had sunken.
