Before & After Photos

Before: Water Bubbling Up Through the Foundation—Even After Cleanup

After experiencing major flooding, the homeowners brought in a restoration company to handle cleanup and damage repair. But once the drying equipment was gone, they discovered something worse—water was still bubbling up through the foundation. The sump pump system wasn’t doing its job, and there was no way to manage groundwater coming in around the perimeter.

After: Dry, Protected Basement with WaterGuard® & SuperSump®

Our team installed a full interior WaterGuard® drainage system to capture water at the base of the foundation before it can rise to the surface. We also replaced their outdated pump with a SuperSump® system, complete with a powerful discharge line to move water far away from the home.

Now, their basement is dry—for real this time. No more standing water. No more surprises after the equipment leaves.

Before:
A homeowner in Kaukauna, WI, wanted to improve their basement by adding an egress window that would make the space brighter and meet safety requirements for future finishing plans. The existing basement windows were small, allowing little light or ventilation, and did not meet code for emergency egress. The homeowner wanted a durable, long-term solution that enhanced both safety and comfort.

After:
Sure-Dry’s installation team excavated the exterior area and installed a complete egress window system, including a large, code-compliant window, a strong window well, and a clear protective cover to prevent debris and water intrusion. The crew also added drainage stone at the base of the well to direct water away from the foundation and ensure long-term performance. The new installation brought in ample natural light, improved ventilation, and created a safe, accessible emergency exit.

The homeowner was very pleased with the transformation, noting the basement now feels bright, open, and ready to finish with confidence.

Before:

A homeowner in Kaukauna, WI wanted to improve the safety and functionality of their basement by installing an egress window. Without a properly sized emergency escape opening, basement spaces can have limited accessibility during an emergency. Smaller basement windows also restrict the amount of natural light entering the space, making it feel darker and less inviting.

After:

Sure-Dry installed a new egress window and window well, providing an emergency escape route while allowing significantly more natural light into the basement. The installation involved preparing the foundation opening, securing and sealing the new window, and installing an exterior window well with appropriate drainage considerations.

The completed project provides a brighter, more functional basement with improved emergency access. A properly sized and installed egress window can also help homeowners meet applicable building code requirements for basement bedrooms.
