Before:
A Hilbert homeowner was dealing with recurring basement seepage where the walls meet the floor. After heavy rain, water tracked across the slab, leaving puddles, musty odors, and concerns about long-term damage.
After:
We installed the WaterGuard® interior drainage system along the leaking walls to intercept water at the cove joint and channel it to the home’s existing sump discharge point. The perimeter trench was restored with new concrete for a clean finish.
The basement now stays dry during storms and is far easier to keep clean and usable.
Before:
A homeowner in Hilbert, WI, wanted to install an egress window to bring more natural light into their basement and meet safety code requirements for a planned living space. The existing basement windows were small and inefficient, providing little light or ventilation and no emergency exit. The homeowner wanted a professional solution that would improve both the safety and comfort of their home.
After:
Sure-Dry’s installation team excavated the exterior area and installed a new egress window system, including a large, code-compliant window, a durable window well, and a clear cover to keep out water and debris. Drainage stone was added at the base of the well to ensure proper water management and long-term performance. The new installation provided a bright, open basement with improved airflow and a safe emergency exit that meets all modern building codes.
The homeowner was thrilled with the transformation, noting how much brighter and more inviting the basement now feels — and with confidence knowing the new system provides both safety and durability.

Building codes require that finished basement living areas have an emergency egress - an egress window large enough to allow safe exit out of the space in case of an emergency. A large window well with a step in it must also be used outside the egress window.
Here at Sure-Dry Basement Systems, we are certified installers of egress window wells. In addition to providing a safe exit, our egress windows allow more natural light and fresh air into the basement to make the space feel larger and more inviting.
Here is an example of an egress window we installed in the home of Collene B. of Fredonia, WI.

Before tackling this basement's unwelcome water guest in Fredonia, WI, the frustration was palpable—wet floors, potential damage lurking. But notice in the photo how we turned the tide with our WaterGuard and UltraSump System combo. Now, as you can see, this basement is comfortably dry, securing peace of mind for our homeowners. We're proud to have provided a durable solution, embodying our commitment to unrivaled customer experiences and resilient home solutions.
The basement of this home in Random Lake, WI had water coming into the basement from between the foundation walls and footing. With nothing in place to catch and drain the water, and no sump pump to drain the water out and away from the house, the water coming in was pooling in the basement, causing damage to the carpeting.
To catch the water coming in, Sure-Dry Basement Systems installed their WaterGuard® system. The WaterGuard® system collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to your sump pump. The system installs quickly and has a clean finished appearance, meaning you don't have to worry about having an unsightly drain around the basement.
To discharge the water being collected by the WaterGuard system, Sure-Dry installed their SuperSump® Premier Pump System. The SuperSump® includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The SuperSump® can also be installed with an optional UltraSump® Battery Backup Sump Pump, which can pump out 11,500 gallons or more on a single charge!
