Before
The crawl space beneath this Rib Lake, WI home showed ongoing moisture exposure, inadequate insulation, and sagging floor structure caused by undersized and settling support posts. Exposed soil allowed ground moisture to migrate upward, while unsealed rim joists and poorly insulated crawl space walls contributed to cold floors and elevated humidity levels. These conditions are common indicators that crawl space repair and crawl space encapsulation were needed to protect the home’s structure and improve energy efficiency.
After
Sure-Dry completed a full crawl space encapsulation and stabilization solution by installing CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier to isolate the crawl space from ground moisture, SilverGlo™ insulation panels along the foundation walls for improved thermal performance, and RimTight™ insulation at the rim joists to eliminate air leakage. To address floor sagging, adjustable SmartJack® support posts were installed to stabilize and permanently support the floor system above.
The crawl space is now dry, sealed, structurally supported, and energy efficient, resulting in improved comfort and long-term protection for the home.
Before
This crawl space had a sand and dirt floor that allowed constant ground moisture to migrate into the space, contributing to damp conditions, musty odors, and elevated humidity levels. The exposed earth combined with unsealed rim joists created pathways for moisture and cold air intrusion, while the lack of a reliable drainage and pumping system left the crawl space vulnerable to water accumulation during heavy rain and snowmelt—clear indicators that crawl space repair and crawl space encapsulation were needed.
After
Sure-Dry encapsulated the crawl space by installing CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier over the sand and dirt floor to block ground moisture, sealed and insulated the rim joists with RimTight™ to stop air leakage, and added a SmartSump® system to actively manage groundwater and protect against flooding.
The crawl space is now dry, sealed, and properly protected, helping improve indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and long-term structural durability.
The before photo reveals the all-too-common story for homeowners in Endeavor, WI: a basement victim to the recurring menace of water leakage, casting a damp shadow on what could be a vital part of their home. Cue Sure-Dry's solution visible in the after photo—our installation of WaterGuard. This ingenious system now guards the basement against water, transforming feared floods into a worry of the past, ensuring every corner remains dry, comfortable, and ready for homeowner creativity to shine.
Before:
This Fifield, WI homeowner experienced frequent basement water intrusion, especially during heavy rain. Water pooled along the floor where the wall met the slab, creating damp, musty conditions and threatening stored belongings. Without a reliable sump system or drainage solution, the hydrostatic pressure continued to push moisture into the space, making it impossible to keep the basement dry.
After:
To permanently solve the issue, the Sure-Dry team installed a complete waterproofing system including a WaterGuard® interior drainage system, a bleeder line, and a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System. These components work together to capture groundwater, relieve pressure, and discharge it safely away from the home.
The homeowner now has a consistently dry, protected basement that’s ready for safe storage and peace of mind year-round.
Before:
The homeowner was battling two issues in the basement: cold, drafty floors from leaky rim joists and periodic water after heavy rains. The old sump could not keep up during storms, and the air leaks at the rim made the space damp and uncomfortable year-round.
After:
We air-sealed and insulated the rim joist perimeter with RimTight™, stopping outside air infiltration and helping control moisture at its entry point. We then installed a TripleSafe® sump system—three pumps in one liner (primary, secondary, and a battery-backup pump)—with an airtight lid and high-reliability discharge setup.
The basement is now tighter, warmer at the floor level, and protected against power outages or heavy rain events.
