Jerome was dealing with two major basement issues in his Charlottesville home. Pressure from the surrounding soil had caused one of the basement walls to begin bowing inward, while water intrusion was creating additional concerns about the condition of the foundation.

To address both problems, Cope and his crew installed our WaterGuard® Basement Waterproofing System along with 12 CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing Straps. The WaterGuard® system helps keep the basement dry by capturing and directing water away, while the CarbonArmor® straps stabilize the wall and help prevent further inward movement

This home in Charlottesville had several stair-step cracks along the outside walls of the house. These cracks were cause by the house sinking and settling. Fortress helped this family out by installing several Push Piers along the outside of the the house to support and stabilize the foundation. This system provides solid support for undersized beams and restores stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. The sump pump will work to keep the crawl space dry, preventing future water damage.
