We installed 14 push piers at this structure in Midvale, Utah. There was a severe separation between some of the walls around the structure. The wall and roofline also had a separation. Our crew worked three days pushing piers up to 20 feet into the soils below to achieve stability.
Severe foundation settlement caused large stair step cracks in this commercial building located in Midvale, Utah. There was severe wall and roof separation. We installed 14 piers on the interior of the building to lift and stabilize a sinking foundation. Our crew excavated the foundation footer and partially removed it to install the pier in the proper position. Once the piers were in place, the building was lifted back to stability and gaps in the brick of the stair step cracks closed.
This home's foundation was built on a mix of Sandy-Clay soil. The home began to settle one inch over the course of a year. We recently piered the home returning it's integrity and making it structurally sound once again.
