Concrete Pool Deck & Driveway Joint Repair in Burlison, TN

Mary S. of Burlison, TN, reached out to us with growing concerns about several areas of settling around her pool deck and driveway. Her existing wooden control joints were deteriorating, and she feared the issues would worsen over time—especially near the diving board and where the brick exterior meets the home. The uneven surfaces not only posed cosmetic concerns but also hinted at underlying voids that could compromise the safety and longevity of the outdoor living space.

After an in-depth inspection and review of the photos and diagrams provided, our team proposed a comprehensive two-part solution. This included lifting and leveling two sunken concrete areas using PolyLevel®, and sealing all control joints (CJ) and cracks (CR) with NexusPro® for maximum protection. The project also covered the addition of new control joints along the driveway, sealing the coping joints around the pool, and applying NexusPro at the transition where the brick meets the home’s foundation. To ensure lasting stability, we recommended full void filling beneath the entire pool deck, with special attention given to the subtle elevation difference around the diving board area.

Mary ultimately chose to move forward with the full two-part system—ensuring her concrete surfaces are safer, stronger, and better protected against future settlement. If you're dealing with aging joints, settling concrete, or uneven pool decking, contact us today for a free inspection and see how our proven concrete solutions can restore and protect your outdoor spaces.

Trip Hazard Removed and Patio Joints Sealed in Germantown, TN

We recently met with a homeowner, Richard, in Germantown, TN, to inspect a sidewalk in front of his home that had developed a significant trip hazard. After a complaint was filed with the city, he was required to either repair or replace the damaged concrete slabs. To meet city requirements without incurring the cost of full replacement, Richard chose the most efficient and budget-friendly option—PolyLevel® concrete lifting. This method allowed us to quickly and cleanly raise the sunken slab, removing the trip hazard and restoring a safe, even surface.

During the visit, Richard also requested an assessment of his backyard patio. The patio featured 34 linear feet of control joints, each approximately two inches wide and three inches deep. Most joints still contained aging wood filler that had begun to rot. We removed all decayed material and prepped the joints for sealing. Given the depth, we installed backer rod to support the sealant, ensuring durability and a clean, finished appearance that will protect the concrete for years to come.

This project resolved both a public safety concern and a maintenance issue in one visit, all while staying within budget. Whether you're facing a city citation or just need professional concrete care, our team specializes in PolyLevel® lifting and joint sealing throughout Germantown and beyond. Schedule your free inspection today and protect your property with precision concrete repair.
