Nestled in the scenic beauty of Collegedale, TN, John cherished his expansive cottage cabin, surrounded by lush woodlands. However, relentless rainfall began straining the property’s retaining wall, triggering soil erosion down the hillside. Alarmed by the growing crack in the stone retainer and the destabilized grounds, John contacted Master Services for help. Our team swiftly arrived to evaluate the situation, diagnosing the need for urgent structural reinforcement. Confident in our solution, John approved the repairs without delay.

On the day of the project, our crew expertly carved an access point into the cabin’s concrete driveway, strategically installing a durable Geo-Lock Wall anchoring system to fortify the wall. After securing three anchors on both sides of the wall, we meticulously backfilled the area with soil and restored the terrain to its natural grade. The entire process was completed in a single day, preserving the rustic charm of John’s property with minimal disturbance.

Thrilled with the seamless restoration, John now enjoys peace of mind, knowing his cottage cabin’s foundation is secure against future storms. 

After additional weight was added to one side of this Ooltewah home, the existing floor system needed extra structural support to safely carry the increased load. Rather than relying solely on the original framing, the homeowner wanted a long-term solution that would reinforce the affected area and provide lasting stability.

Our team designed and installed a supplemental steel beam supported by adjustable support posts beneath the crawl space. This custom reinforcement system created a stronger load path for the added weight, helping distribute structural loads more effectively while preserving the home's existing framing. Master Services visited a home with a sinking patio in Birchwood, TN. An outside AC unit was sitting on the slab, which sunk probably due to soil erosion caused by rain. To fix it, we injected the slab with PolyLyft, which raises cement slabs as it expands. 

This Crab Orchard, TN homeowner noticed foundation issues within his home, including serious cracks and uneven walls. All of these issues stemmed from a crooked garage slab, so he called Master Services out to take a look. We injected our miraculous PolyLyft into ports placed along the slab, effectively raising it and tightening cracks within the house. 

A retired teacher in Dalton, GA, reached out to Master Services after noticing stair-step cracks forming around the corner of her home. Worried about the safety of her property, she scheduled an appointment with one of our home inspectors. During the inspection, it was determined that soil settling, caused by fluctuating moisture levels and extreme temperature changes, was to blame.

To address the issue and prevent further structural damage, we recommended installing three helical piers beneath the affected corner of the house. These piers would provide much-needed support and stability. Once the installation was complete, the trenches were backfilled and leveled with minimal disruption to the yard. The homeowner was relieved to see the cracks close and felt reassured knowing her home was now safe and secure for the years ahead.
