Kerry in Nolensville, TN contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after noticing concerns in his crawl space. During the inspection, our design technician found the relative humidity at 86%. The existing insulation was saturated and falling from the floor joists, and mold growth was visible throughout the space. To protect the home and eliminate the moisture issues, a full crawl space repair plan was recommended.

Our team began by removing all debris and pulling out the damaged insulation. Frontier’s soda-blasting crew then cleaned the floor joists to remove mold and prepare the space for repairs.

Next, the crew installed a complete Crawl Space Drainage System paired with a TripleSafe Complete pump system to move water out of the crawl space. The discharge line was routed through an IceGuard® system and LawnScape™ outlet to ensure water is sent away from the foundation, even in freezing conditions. A CleanSpace® 20-mil vapor barrier with CleanSpace® Drainage Matting was then placed across the entire crawl space to keep moisture from entering the home from beneath.
