In 2010, Tim K. of Simpsonville, SC added a garage on to his home, and shortly after he started to notice settlement.  A gap appeared above the door, which caused the doors and windows the stick when opening and closing.  Knowing the problem was only going to get worse, Tim called both Cantey Foundation Specialists and one of our competitors.  After hearing the solutions, Tim chose Cantey because he was more comfortable with our #1 team and he was more confident that we would fix it right the first time.  Our production crew led by Foreman Justin Wheeler installed two push piers to lift and stabilize the side of the garage that was settling.  Now, Tim can enjoy his garage for many years to come!

Johnny, from Lincolnton, GA, had foundation issues in the past, so when his floors started sagging once again he knew immediately that he needed a second opinion. His home was supported by concrete columns and a light-duty post that had settled into the soil causing the floors to sink. We installed three SmartJacks and a Supplemental Beam to raise his floors and further stabilize his home.

John L. of Wellford, SC noticed his floors were beginning to sag between his kitchen and dining room, but he left it alone until his pest control company completed an inspection.  The pest control company found termite damaged wood in the crawl space which weakened the structural support.  The pest control company referred John to Cantey Foundation Specialists, and he received a free inspection and estimate by Specialist Katherine Dillon.  Within a few weeks, John's termite damaged wood beams were replaced with our treated lumber, which brought the floor back to level and strengthened the structure.  Now, John can enjoy his home for years to come!
