The Cantey Foundation Specialists team cleaned and prepared the space before installing a full crawlspace encapsulation system with a durable vapor barrier to help manage moisture and improve long-term protection.

Pamela had noticed that the floors around her Rock Hill home had started to dip around the walls and that some areas were sagging and soft. Upon inspection, we found the wood foundation of her home had been exposed to high levels of moisture, which was most likely the cause of the mold and wood rot. Because Pamela's home was structurally dependent upon the wood, it was imperative that the rotted wood be replaced. We installed a new main beam as well as the sister joists. Crew members also installed an entire CleanSpace Encapsulation with a Dehumidifier and Drainage System to ensure her crawl space stays dry and free of mold.

Carmela G. and her family love their home in Westminster, SC. It is where her kids have grown up and she cannot imagine living anywhere else. The CleanSpace system would begin with the floor, walls, and piers being wrapped or covered in a thick material. This material would separate the home and crawl space from the ground and moisture. The material is then secured with spray foam adhesive to create a complete barrier. This barrier would keep the crawl space dry and prevent further damage from moisture. Carmela knew that this system would protect her home and help her breathe easier. Production Crew Leader Estevan Lopez, Production Crew Member Jonathan Whitaker, and Production Crew Member Phillip Sullivan came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system.
