The Shaw's of Summerville, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists after noticing some cracking and settling in their driveway. So impressed by our System Design Specialist, the PolyLevel Lift that Cantey offers, and our proposal, that the second opinion they had scheduled- they cancelled. The Shaw's now have a level driveway and their concerns are no more.

Kevin O. bought his home in Summerville, SC a few years ago to start a family with his wife. It is the perfect home for them and they have already made many memories there. Since they moved in, Kevin noticed that the floor in the living room was sinking. Over the years, it has only gotten worse and with two young children, Kevin knew he needed to protect them as well as their home. Kevin received an advertisement for Cantey Foundation Specialists in the mail and decided to give them a call for a free inspection. System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand came out and did a thorough inspection of Kevin's crawl space and foundation. Grayson determined that the area underneath Kevin's living room needed extra support. He explained that the system would start with holes that would be filled with engineered gravel. This would be a solid base that would not sink over time like soil. Then a metal plate would be installed on top of the gravel and a metal beam would be installed over the existing wooden beams. A SmartJack would then be secured to the top beam and the bottom plate. Once the SmartJack is level, it is then adjusted to create the lift that the floor above needs. Kevin felt that this system could give he and his wife the peace of mind they needed in their home. Production Crew Leader Israel Santana, Production Crew Member Nick Rish, and Production Crew Member Stephen Halsall came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Kevin and his wife are confident in the stability of their home and appreciate the peace of mind they have for their children.

Gracie K. noticed several cracks above her living room doorway in her Ravenel, SC home.  After patching and repainting the cracks, Gracie noticed that a few weeks later the cracks would reappear and were becoming larger in size.  Knowing that she must be having a foundation issue, she called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free inspection and estimate.  Specialist Kendall Moore explained to Gracie that the cracks were becoming larger because the floor was not correctly supported.  By installing our SmartJack crawl space jack solution, we could lift and stabilize the floors back into place.  This would ultimately close the cracks in the living room doorway, and permanently stabilize her floor.

After the work was complete Gracie told Specialist Kendall, "I knew it worked because I have repainted over the closed crack, and I haven't noticed any movement since!"

Holly H. is a homeowner in Ravenel, SC who desperately needed something done with her crawl space. The moisture underneath her home was very intense. It caused the joist underneath her home to rot time after time and she just couldn't find a end to her problems. After talking with some friends at her work, someone told her to call Cantey Foundation Specialists. Specialist Grayson Forehand came out to Holly's home for a free inspection. When he was done he explained to her that a CleanSpace was the solution to her moisture problem. Team Leader Israel, Team Member Jonathan, and Team Member Austin came out to Holly's home and effectively installed the CleanSpace. After the instillation, Holly exclaimed, "Wow it's so nice and clean now, it really did block all the moisture down here." Holly can relax now knowing that her joist are saved thanks to Cantey.
