Cantey Foundation Specialists Team Members place a piece of tape on the side of this Ansonville, NC home so that they can closely monitor the progress of this foundation lift. It is extraordinary how piers can permanently stabilize a home a restore it to it's original condition.
Lori and Jerry S. are homeowners in Bishopville, SC who are retired and still enjoying the home they built many years ago. They love spending time on their porch watching the cars go by while getting some fresh air. Recently, Jerry noticed that the porch had started to sink making it look unsafe. He worried about their safety when they went outside and wondered how he could get it fixed for his peace of mind. While they were watching the morning news one day they saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. Jerry was impressed that the owner of Cantey himself was on the commercials. He thought that the owner putting his own face on the work was a sign of a company with integrity. Lori and Jerry called in and set up an appointment with System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford. Jamie found after his inspection of the porch, that Cantey's Helical Pier system would be the right solution for this problem. Jamie further explained that the Helical Piers would be inserted into the ground at a depth that would reach the competent soil. This soil would have to be strong enough to hold the weight of the porch. Once this level is reached, a metal bracket is placed on the bottom of the porch. Then using hydraulics, the piers would push against the capable soil and use the bracket to lift the porch back to its original position. This would lift and stabilize the porch for a lasting solution. Production Team Leader Juan Ramirez, Production Team Member Matthew Williams, and Production Team Member Robert Gardner came out and successfully installed the Helical Pier system. Lori and Jerry are back to relaxing on their porch and are thankful to be able to recommend a company with such integrity to all their friends.
