Long-Time Homeowner Needs Help With Sinking Garage Floor

Garage floors tend to have voids or spider cracks throughout, but this home in Brampton, Ontario, had started sinking dramatically. The sinking on one side split the entire floor horizontally, which intrigued the homeowner of 40 years to call our team. Since the concrete was thick, he wanted to find a solution that would not involve gutting all of it only to re-pour more. We sent our Project Manager, Paul Mendell, to the home to find the best solution to tackle this sinking driveway. He recommended we inject our PolyLevel® injection system evenly to avoid cracking, safely lift the driveway, and give it the original slope it had previously. Regarding the crack, Paul showed the client our NexusPro® sealant, which can be colour-matched for a more pristine look. The homeowner's response was incredible. His face lit up with joy, knowing that our method would save him a lot of money, and he could already visualize the clean work that our crew would do.

On a later date, our crew, consisting of Foreman Bill McKeown, and Specialist Nestor Cabrera, came to the home and began the garage floor transformation. The approach was to inject bits and pieces amongst 16 injection points to lift the garage floor evenly and prevent spiderweb cracks from forming. Within no time, the garage floor was achieving the desired slope Bill was looking for and the homeowner was already amazed by the effortless lifting the PolyLevel® had done. The final treatment to the floor was sealing the big crack and dividing the concrete into two segments. Nestor started buffing the fracture to prep the Nexus. Bill followed right behind with the colour-matched material and smooth it out to sit flush with the rest of the concrete. The results were immaculate.

Back and Front Yard Concrete Repair with NexusPro® and PolyLevel® in Brampton, Ontario

This customer in Brampton, Ontario, was doing her spring cleaning in her backyard when she discovered how uneven the concrete slabs in her front and backyard had become over time. Some of the slabs had begun to crack, and she did not want any more damage to reach a point where she would have to replace the concrete completely.

A trusted crew from Canadian Concrete Leveling was assigned to help find a long-lasting solution for our customer's front and backyard. Our team first installed the NexusPro®, which adheres to any cracks in the concrete. This strong sealant can withstand high UV rays and other harsh weather conditions. Next, the PolyLevel® polyurethane is an injection pumped through small holes drilled into the concrete and ultimately levels the concrete back to an even grade.

In the end, our customer was relieved that her concrete was fixed with a long-term solution, and she didn't have to spend much money on replacing it.

Cracked and Uneven Basement Floor, Midland, ON

A home in Midland, Ontario, had a problem with the basement floor. The concrete had dropped down 2 inches towards the side of the house. It also had a fracture crack across it where the floor had snapped and began to sink. The homeowner could not use the space since it was uneven and the crack was a trip hazard for everyone.

The homeowner called Canadian Concrete Leveling and spoke to Paul Mendell who explained our PolyLevel Injection system. Our installation team injected the polyurethane through small dime-seized holes and lifted the floor back up to its original position.

Not only was the trip hazard eliminated, the homeowner really appreciated the cost-effective, non-invasive PolyLevel process, without any of the mess and disruption associated with having to tear out and replace a basement floor.

This homeowner's front entrance and driveway needed a lift after years of normal wear and tear to their home, so they called Clarke Basement Systems to help solve the issue. We sent out one of our inspectors, Paul Mendell to take a look at their home and he made incredible recommendations.

We were able to lift the concrete slabs back to its original height using our PolyLevel® Injection and also match up the adjoining walkway and two driveway slabs. Once the lift and void fill was complete, we finished off the project by neatly sealing all treated areas with NexusPro® Sealant.
